Damn you! You are right, but it means getting it all out again...cannie be bothered. Mind you, did the door pull and it kinda improves it I think
  3. Bloody hell, were you travelling at some pace?!
  4. I can't imagine what ure likely to suggest....
  5. I am also in that lost zone of music at the moment - I was of the Prodigy, Chemical Brothers, Oasis type age of music and nothing recently has really come close in terms of creating an album with ten brilliant songs on, maybe 2 or 3 but not a properly good album. I did however buy AVICII which was really good. Only album I have bought in about five years!

Well, few more developments Front bumper repaired by TGM all looks like new happy days. Also, seeing as not much opportunity to head out today, thought I would try something on the interior which I have been wanting to try for a little while but not had time...plastidip! Not the best job in the world, a few little bits and pieces on it but wanted to see how it looked before I committed to something more permanent like aqua dipping. I have new handbrake and gear gaiters on the way which are black with white stitch which will make it all go a bit better. Also considering getting a black with white stitch steering wheel replacement. Also took the opportunity to remove the HICAS led from the display clocks so it doesn't come up every time
  7. Just picked up a used iMac (2007!) for Rebecca, its running on snow leopard, anyone tried sticking mavericks on a machine that old? its been reformatted and has 4gb of memory...
  8. Might be at this in the Skyline but with a handful of of people off the Skyline forum, as above will come over say HEEEELOOOOOO
  9. Yeah no point limping all that way - all it takes is a bit too much and you have a four figure repair bill!
  10. Well if you are stuck out somewhere, wait till it cools down and nurse it home, if you are at home I wouldn't drive it off somewhere till you figure out what is wrong...heat is VERY bad for engines.
  11. Might have to change my post on the dream garage thread!
  12. Checked for leaks? Belts connected OK? Is fan working ok? Did the temp gauge read hot or was it normal?
  13. In that second photo from that angle there is something 'Hakosuka' about it, me likey.
  14. The non-mechanic type person here would just mention checking all around the car to isolate the source of the noise, make sure the exhaust/manifold is not loose and rattling etc. If all that checks out, listen to the experts
  15. Pulled up to get some bulbs for the wifes focus and there you were!
  16. What a joke, only gets parts direct from manufacturers? How does his business still exist? If that's the case whats to stop you taking the car direct to Nissan to sort instead of him. £4900, you might as well write the car off - how utterly ridiculous. The Exedy clutches are bang on identical to OEM, no problem when I had mine put in.
  17. Ahhhh, to dream of having my own parking space off the road... Ferrari Enzo to look good in Ferrari 250 GTO to just look at Aston One-77 to use as my daily drive Caterham SP400r to thrash on a track Range Rover Autobiography Ultimate to ferry the family around in
  18. ...so much for FIFA and their transfer embargo on Barca as well!
  19. I cant imagine either Madrids wanting Sanchez, which means any next step is outside Spain. Italy? Not sure if they could offer anywhere near the wages, so Prem it would be. Liverpool could be a fair shout for the league this year again and are in champions league so has appeal. I read somewhere it could be something like £40m plus Sanchez. Liverpool rate Suarez at £80m in the Gareth Bale bracket.
  20. I actually have a child that walks Rafs he is two years old and needs a secure child seat in the back of the car, but the problem is getting them in and out of the rear child seat - you need to have the door fully open and standing outside whilst trying to wrestle with often ridiculously fiddly belt clips on child seats. I could park in a normal space and just crack my door against the side of the car parked less than 18 inches away but then I am sure everyone would complain - or you can park in the child parking spots which allow you to safely without danger to other vehicles get, more often than not wriggling and resisting like crazy, into the back of the car and secured properly and safely.
  21. Yes Hodgson does nothing to inspire and tactically is pretty stagnant. Also not enough passion in the players hearts, they are too busy thinking about how to spend their excessive wages when they get back home. I hear the interviews with players saying they are gutted for everyone etc but it just seems so shallow. In other news, as expected following the 'apology' Suarez is chatting with Barca about a move - cash plus alexis sanchez apparently which would be a stunning bit of business for Liverpool - would pay for all their transfers plus get a world class player in return.
  22. In fact its this sort of debate that I think is the strength of this forum...I got a torrent of abuse thrown at me on the VX forum just for daring to even suggest that I felt the turbo version of the car was overpriced in my opinion. On here you have a growing group of ex-owners who stick around because its a great forum to talk on and have made good mates on here as well as still having something to contribute in terms of answering questions - how many times have ex-owners helped out current owners with their zed questions Looking forwards to seeing various cars at the Woodman meet on Sunday
