I have used bug and tar and white spirit when debadging my cars - paint has been fine?

I have a 4s, have had it for about 2 1/2 years now and has done this a couple of times. Aforementioned reset worked both times. I did have a problem with the 4s when I first got it, the speaker failed, took it back to carphone warehouse and they simply checked it and swapped it for another one - no problems at all.

Lots of hot water to try soften it then clay bar?

What if someone suddenly showed us a picture of a car which as standard had the same rear bumper as the chargespeed one? Would you all then remove the bumper as you shouldnt be trying to be something you are not? The bumper takes inspiration from the GTR, not sure it really matters.

Would the DVLA not want to know?

There is a very slight chance this has been discussed...possibly once, maybe twenty times Revert to search and see what comes up...

Neighbour got a knock on the door last night to be faced with two coppers and a burly Polish fella in a Curry's coat. Walked outside to see the right hand side of his Range Rover smashed up - turns out the Polish guy is a delivery driver for Curry's and took his HGV down our road (which is clearly signposted unsuitable for HGVs) and just drove into it before driving off...then got stuck at the top of our road trying to get around the corner and couldnt get out. Police arrived and a neighbour came out and said they saw the lorry hit the Range Rover... ...so Curry's are paying up and the driver is off for a court date for failing to stop

Not 350z related but still funny, went with mate and his girlfriend whilst at uni to a football match - was the first game she had ever been to - she was adamant she had read up on the rules and was confident she could contribute to the banter on the terraces...we were really supportive of her right up until when the teams ran out and she asks 'so who is the guy in black'

Why does my Zed seem to polarise reactions?
coldel replied to twobears's topic in Off Topic Discussion
Your Zed is not polarising, its just how people drive regardless. I have a R33 and a Ford Focus - get the same behaviour from people no matter what car I am out in. Had the same in the VX220 which was scarily exposed (imagine small lightweight tub about 6 inches off the ground) - really, its not a Zed thing. -
Asking price & selling price are 2 very different things I know that, I would bet my last quid that on average people get no more than 10% off...still doesn't put the budget in a good place.

I think Billy had the seller at gunpoint - that or had some very interesting pictures of the seller that could potentially fall into the wrong hands There are something like 180 Zeds for sale on AT last time I looked - I would have a guess about 2 of them are under £4500 - so you are getting effectively the bottom 1% of cars out there in the market. It could be ok, but it will be a very early import or massive high miler.
-
All as above but I bought one for £40 from Halfords instead of Stormforce - pretty much identical one branded one not (both 4 layer, breathable, materials etc) Stormforce are circa £150. All the VX220 boys used to get them and were ultra OCD because of the paintwork/clam issues on the cars and they all recommended the Halfords ones. Putting on first time will take ages, by fourth or fifth you will have the technique nailed down!

Good luck with the sale Rich You know you can fit child seats in the back of an R33 quite easily

everyone is different, for me i just ut the lot out straight away! i felt rubbish for 2 weeks then my body adjusted and i have felt better and better since. for me i have to cut it out completely as i cant say ok i will just have 1 chocolate bar this week or 1 sweet drink that day as it snowballs into what harm can t do to have another... for me it was best to just draw a line and say 'no more' I guess you have to be honest about your own willpower on how aggressive you go at it!

My neighbour sells these, and has tried it and lost a ridiculous amount of weight very quickly. He felt like crap though for weeks on end, light headed, lacked energy, couldnt do his normal activities, couldnt even ride his bike. Its a crash weight loss approach but its not a nice way of doing it from what I can see. What is better is to fundamentally change bits of your life in stages, you wont be able to swap out all of your current sugar and carb intakes in one hit - and in actual fact will make you hate doing it and chances are the second you lose the weight you will revert back to the naughty stuff. Just decide for a week to not eat that chocolate bar and buy some fruit instead, the following week walk the long way to work, etc - just some thoughts, whatever you end up doing make sure its your decision, your body after all!

How many counties have you lived in to make that very bold statement Good question! Actually I have lived in five...anyone else done more? Yep Essex (born in Chelmsford) Kent (twice) London (SE8 & SE11) Somerset Tyne & Wear Suffolk Norfolk I forgot London..! Can I add Tokyo and Paris as counties?

Good to see you chaps, a few photos from earlier...

Nice weather for it - see you all in about an hour and a half!

I've taken mine off 4-5 times now and never had to touch the tension bar? I am pretty sure the difference is minimal - not seen any posts on here that people said their handling went to pieces because they didn't change the compression on the bar.

I used to commute in Paris, was only about 45 minutes (rather ironically I lived centrally on Isle Saint Louis and had to cycle out of Paris to the office) and I just stuck on a tshirt and shorts like every one else - jumped on my hybrid bike and set off - I got to work had a shower and clean up and started at my desk, just as anyone in London who has a hugely expensive carbon bike and Team Sky outfit on. In winter actually I could cycle that 45 mins in work clothes and just go sit down when I arrived because I wasn't trying to tank it at 30mph.

So why is it that countries across the rest of Europe, who arguably each have more cyclists than here, do not need to wear lycra? I would say one reason is because they are not on a time trial when cycling to work and do not sweat profusely and thus do not need the outfit. We seem to have gone cycling crazy here, which is not a bad thing as we can see we are successful in the sport. But most people commuting seem to have the wrong equipment i.e. using crouched down time trial or fast road bikes vs when I lived in France and the like the people commuting to work across capital cities cycled slower, had more upright bikes and generally made their journey safer for themselves. It's a good question and as I only have a commute of just over a mile I can't really answer. That said if I was cycling any further I would put on suitable cycling clothes and shower at work. I don't know what the average commute in other European towns and cities are and maybe us Brits have to commute further I don't know the above but maybe it is a factor Could be distance, not sure what the average distance is. I guess like anything though leave earlier if you have to travel further?
