  1. Have to say reading the packet, I was pretty much laughing my ass off - what a complete and utter joke
  2. Personally, considering the amount of money you spend on fuel, insurance, VED, maintenance, modifications the extra 200 quid tax on an HR if its the right car should never be a deal breaker.
  3. As I understand it, the rev-up has marginally more power but also marginally less torque. Performance wise no noticeable difference between the two. I think you are better off buying a good DE car rather than stretching and buying a dog HR and make sure you have some budget left over to spend on stuff, these cars don't sound great stock, most you may have heard have had full exhaust changes along with decats or sports cats - anything stock is very quiet.
  4. I work in a sizable retail group and just had a chat with senior management, there are no problems in the supply chain for getting toilet rolls or dried pasta, the only thing struggling is hand sanitiser due to the lack of suppliers. But otherwise there are tonnes of bog roll sat there ready to go, its just a case of shifting it all this week based on the uptick of purchasing. Lets just say retail leaders are less than pleased with the utter bu11sh1t parts of the media have been putting out there...
  5. Aye its both, although the media kick started it, you then have 'experts' on social media telling us absolute rubbish.
  6. Bloody media AGAIN mate. They really are the pits. Will headline anything in the name of 'freedom of the press' to make a quick buck, doesn't matter what the consequences. No accountability at all.
  7. Might be worth putting making your car E10 proof on your list of things to do mate
  8. Japan is a microcosm of cleanliness though! Bonkers lot!
  9. Supermarkets are now doing this, to prevent bulk buying. Just goes to show how stupid people are though.
  10. The Arnold Rimmer principle applies in times of need like this, three sheets needed, one up one down and one to polish
  11. Dan's efforts to repopulate the world with highly trained tyre expert babies looks to be coming to fruition.
  12. And of course, all those people that don't want to catch the virus buying up all the hand gel, means that lots of people now cannot get hand gel, cannot stop themselves catching the virus and therefore increasing the odds that the stockpilers will now catch it. Stupid is as stupid does.

    My 911

The TR6 is awesome, love it.
  14. I think if people have a decent sized garden then let the kids play ball in the garden for a bit stop being such miserly old moaners but certainly 4am isn't the right time for it!
  15. Ha I was going to post that up, its a prophecy!
  16. So there is another disease out there that could kill a tiny proportion of people that catch it, much like many others that already exist and kill by the millions globally already. Yet you walk into Tesco and all the pasta sauce and toilet rolls are gone. What on earth is wrong with the human race, I can only assume they read the news and fly off into a panic. Yes we might have to self isolate, we will manage even without 5000 toilet rolls in the cupboard, it will be fine. You will somehow get toilet roll and be able to eat pasta. What annoys me the most, is that you have perfectly healthy, wealthy people who will get no more than a minor sniffle if they catch this disease buying up stuff out the stores and ironically leaving those that cannot afford to stockpile i.e. the elderly and borderline poverty and who are probably more prone to having more severe symptoms unable to buy their normal weekly shop. There must be a theory out there somewhere that says 99.99% of the human race is kept alive by the other 0.01% - or something along those lines
  17. My lasting memory is GT on playstation, and tweaking the Supra to try and get that top speed record an extra tenth faster!
  18. I feel for Greta to an extent, what she does is admirable, and for someone so young to have such an impact on world leaders just by standing by what she believes in - takes some doing. Especially dealing with Aspergers, just to throw that in the mix. Of course plenty of people have jumped on the band wagon, a mate of mine runs a renewable energy company and met her at a recent event, she was surrounded by about 20 people they follow her everywhere. To be honest, she is right, we got to stop burning stuff, thats kind of how we managed to keep warm in caves thousands of years ago. We have tech now which makes energy and is renewable, so in effect, set it up and let it run. With the added advantage its greener - offshore wind farms are greener and cheaper for the full life cycle of their life yet we still pump gas in from the Ukraine, makes no sense at all. We are surrounded by water, in the midst of patriots screaming brexit from an energy provision point of view those same people seem happier to import stuff than generate our own In terms of what impact the UK has, of course its minimal, but we can hardly stand there pointing fingers at Asia and America if we do nothing ourselves. Lead by example and all that. I can roll with 10 - I am happy to reduce meat but wouldn't want to be vegetarian. I don'e eat meat for breakfast or lunch, so its just sorting out the evening meals! All that said, bloody hate EVs, they rip the soul out of fun car ownership, great for your traffic light grand prix heroes and people that cant do corners but anyone that enjoys motoring for the theatre they are terrible. But will enjoy mine whilst I am still allowed to!
  19. I have the full kit, neck scarf, driving gloves, hat, thermal layers!
  20. Yes mine is verging on asthmatic! It moves air around a bit, not much more!
  21. Have to say I love the open top driving, had the roof off mine last weekend and it was about 6 degrees!
