All depends, if his lip is splity in two and wont stop bleeding then yes you probably would head to the A&E to get stitched up - if its a shaving nic then probably not. Apparently he had bruising to the head in a few reports (as we have to rely on) so could have been concussed as well and did the sensible thing to get checked out (although driving himself there wasnt!) Just seemed like the logical conclusion to me, a guy has previous, is on a very public final warning, gets drunk and verbally abuses a work colleague and strikes him - if thats what happened it really is a no brainer. As for 'well we had it out then shook hands' etc, well thats all well and fine if you both decided to go down that route but the producer wasn't and just took a lot of abuse both verbal and physical without reacting, sometimes it takes the bigger man to do that.
-
Must have something to move to, Sky etc would have been all over it the second they got suspended.
-
Yep he's gone, and they mentioned that the producer ended up in A&E - but that could have been for anything from a cut lip to a broken arm for all we know. But they made the point, you cant have one rule for one and another for others, I am pretty sure if the producer verbally and physically assaulted JC over the course of 20 minutes he would have been out on his ear also.
-
I would like to see the actual process - the producer by all accounts didnt actually file a report against JC so seemed willing to deal with it under the table as it were. Pretty sure some rumours were that JC handed himself in, although it was hardly galant given there were going to be witness accounts in the news the next morning anyway... ...seems unfair that the producer has done nothing wrong (as far as we can see) and is going to be vilified by a few JC nut jobs.

First port of call is open the front and if there is a foil tube in there it needs changing for something more substantial! There is also a full heater replacement part which a guy on the forum makes, a big step up from the asthmatic standard one!
-
My bog standard NA VX220 'felt' on par with my Zed (although given the vastly different experiences who knows), bolting a supercharger on it, and then taking it to a stage 2 output hmmmm might make it a pretty potent weapon on the road - and yes, quite some distance faster than a Zed. First mod if it doesnt already have it is to change the heater tubing - god these cars can get cold!
-
...and a classic clip of a forum member - beware the wet weather!
-
This might help... http://www.vx220.org.uk/forums/topic/136720-supercharged-vx220-for-sale/

Might test drive one! i hear they are pretty tuneable too! Clearly the turbos benefit quickly in terms of tuning via remaps but the NAs have to go the supercharged route for some serious bhp increases. Although I have seen (and heard ) the ITB cars and they are pretty bloody impressive also.

Ha was waiting for this post Glad you are enjoying it mate, these cars are pretty epic as you say being stuck to the ground, inches above it, with tremendous speed capabilities it is a whole different world to the Zed - every petrolhead should own one at some point!

I still don't know how they won that, WebOs from Palm had that feature before Apple. I dont know the ins and outs either but did WebOs and Palm patent it?
-
Wow that is a stroke of luck mate, have to say this news has made my afternoon - I think like most on here hate these scammers ripping people off.
-
Absolutely BRILLIANT NEWS mate, well done So whats the fallout in terms of the account it went to, if they have given it back they must be admitting that it was fraudulent and therefore the account is part of a criminal activity? Wont the banks fraud dept be pursuing them?

I never said I was advocating a car show about cars? I was simply commenting based on my view that a highly branded TV show losing one of its key presenter is unlikely in my opinion to suddenly fall over and plummet into extinction. From what I have heard of 5th Gear, its content is nothing like TG, but by removing JC etc. its unlikely TG would become 5thG and simply the BBC would retain the other elements of the show and replace the presenters - yes people agree the presenters make it but as they have never really seen anything else they are unlikely to comment otherwise - already we have seen on here an appetite for Chris Evans etc. is JC irreplaceable? I am not convinced he is. Many TV shows made off the back of individuals 'made it' despite those individuals leaving because they replaced the actors accordingly and used the brand strength of the show.

I fully understand how copyright works, thanks for trying to be so condescending I am not asking for an explanation, i am asking you to provide evidence that the format is copyrighted, i look forward to reading it Do you honestly believe people watch TG just because its called TG?? You seem to make reference to people not wanting to watch the show (for varying reasons), i am sure you are aware of the figures, its clearly not the case, yourself, Ekona etc wanting to watch a "car show" are in the minority and if you did want to watch a car show, why not watch 5th Gear, thats a car show, but its ratings are shocking, hence why its moved to Discovery. No you are missing the point that TG is a brand, the logo, the name, the content the music at the start, everything. Of course people stop watching programmes, they do all the time, just because a show has 5m viewers each week doesnt mean its the same 5m each week thats just naive to think. People drift in and out of programmes for lots of reasons - do people watch Eastenders because its got a bunch of actors in it they like or because its Eastenders. I didnt see Have I got News for You disappear with Angus Deyton, there are endless entertainment shows that rotate presenters and carry on - would TG cease without those three, yes it would as it stands now, would they create something refreshed, yes of course and you will still get a huge swab of current viewers tune in to check it out. I am not missing the point at all I fully understand that TG is a brand, please show me where i have said it isnt? What i am saying is i watch TG regardless of the "brand", i watch it because of the content, within that, the presenters, without those presenters i dont think the "content" i enjoy will be as good because of their interaction. I cannot speak for the other 5m viewers each week, but i would imagine they are regular viewers, the numbers are just too constant for people to be flicking in and out, they have a fan base. So, i have answered your question perhaps you can answer mine, eventually. You want a car programme, whats wrong with 5th gear? I dont actually watch any car programmes at the moment

The brand is also the content, what is Coca Cola if its not the taste of Coca Cola, the colour of Coca Cola and so on? But that taste is made up of lots of things, yes take out their caramel ingredient and replace with another caramel ingredient it will taste different but people will still drink Coke. This is true as this has happened dozens of times over the years. You said 'do you honestly think people watch TG because its called TG' - I would say yes they do, remove the actors in it and a fair amount of people will still watch it, like many other TV shows. The TG brand contains the look, feel and content which appeals to lots of people - remove the actors within this mix and yes some will leave (and I guarantee it wont be all the 1m that signed the petition) but people will just watch it because its TG.

Dont believe a word of that, sorry, if i am wrong please show me where thats the case? So you cant have the The Stig, well you could have The Stog in multi coloured race suit then Most copyrights include similarities like this (although appreciate the point you are making) that anything which 'resembles' or draws its imagery from another is deemed to be copyrighted. Things like when Samsung using a similar 'bounce' when you drag down and release a screen to refresh was sued by Apple successfully I remember...?

It will be interesting to see how much value is attributable to the brand vs the personality if that happened - there are clearly people disengaged from TG because it is so repetitive and have grown weary of the presenters - so you would have people tuning in to see a refreshed show. Then other that will migrate to anything new, if the three of them want to do that, on another channel. Clearly though not everyone has Sky so any comparison is not really like for like in terms of viewing.
-
If Clarkson goes I presume all three of them go?

We got two sofas (non leather ones) 5 years ago and both are still going strong despite a baby boy arriving in the meantime and jumping all over them, no problems at all.

Well...its been ten days since the driver smashed up poor Focus and left no details, I pressed the Hounslow store delivery manager to find out who it was, he said there were no deliveries that night, I told him to ask each driver who did it as clearly he is going to get identified next time he is down our road which he said he wouldnt do. Spoke to my neighbour Tuesday night who said the same driver delivered to her and got the details off him. Passed these on to the Hounslow store delivery manager on Weds morning and still nothing back, he promised to call by Saturday. I am very close to driving down there...absolutely disgusting behaviour by Asda, pathetic.

Surely we get Ricey onto the case, pretend he's interested and find out who they are and where they are

Good work Steve, loving that
