  1. No bank should need any notice whatsoever to withdraw £7,000....................... Have withdrawn more than this from the Richmond high street branch of Lloyds no bother at all with no notice given - took no longer than a few minutes to sort it out and they even let me go to a separate room with someone to count it myself.
  2. Its the excitement of watching the rev counter fly around from 800 to 3000 before changing gear
  3. In what way dude? I always thought they were utter marketing crap to be honest ?! Happy to be proved wrong I cannot imagine when Nissan are engineering a Zed car they do not earth it correctly - that said I bought one simply because it looked cool under the bonnet. Horsham Developments have a kit here with some info on what they felt it did to the car http://h-dev.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=25417
  4. There are a number of point and click options to if you want something cheap to start with, something like snapspeed for instance very easy to use and can really improve photos Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I bought photoshop, I do remember though it had a free months trial so maybe sign up to a few free trials and go for whatever works best?
  6. On the back of a trailer, looked a bit 'racey'

Hope so mate! Still only has 70k miles on it and goes like a rocket, hard to believe its 20 years old. Oh and managed to source some OEM front undertrays (no easy task!) so need to fit those when I get the chance.

Have been tinkering with the car a bit lately after spending most daylight hours driving it (such a great car to drive, 4WD, tonnes of power, great handling) Ended up buying and installing a SWE815 bass speaker in the boot, nice and compact but it really gives the car some amazing ability to fire off those favourite driving songs! Also a little play under the bonnet, so I have the hydraulic bonnet lifters in, so designed my own lanyard and popped that on and I think it works quite nicely! Also a sneaky little addition to the top bonnet vent
  9. Nice work Dan, can't wait to see this car done. I really like the M6 wheels also but yes uber expensive for what they are. Sounds like you planned well though in terms of being prepared to fork out for work after the purchase.
  10. Have fun chaps, would love to do this sort of hoon with you guys some day when I can get sign off being away from the family for any length of time!
  11. Do it all monthly direct debit, makes the hit a bit easier to take
  12. I used to live in Japan Yes second one just wasn't a patch on the first.
  13. Probably the definitive answer right there. What do you want out of £1000? You can't have it all for that money so whats important to you, pick from the three above and spend it
  14. It's actually Indonesian, a cracking film though, it really catches you by surprise just how intense it is and you are shattered by the end of it just keeping up with the non-stop action. In a similar vein, Ip Man is brilliant and based on the true story of the Chinese guy who survived WWII and eventually became the guy who trained Bruce Lee, that scene where he steps into the room and challenges ten Japanese martial artists in one hit is just amazing. On a side note if you You Tube Bruce Lee you see some of the stuff he was capable of is quite scary. Being able to punch someone backwards ten feet by just hitting the person with two fingers holding his hand six inches from them. Mind blowing. Interesting fact as well, if you watch very closely on Enter the Dragon where Bruce Lee drops into the underground lair and is discovered and attacked by a mob of people, at one point he has his back to a room and is attacked by multiple guards, one guard goes at him and get felled with some sticks which clip him in the face (for real) the extra playing that guard was non other than Jackie Chan. He still claims it to be his best movie moment being floored by Bruce Lee as an extra
  15. I seem to drop into that minority that prefers the looks of Aston over the Maser, the Maser just looks overly long, and a bit too 'wingy' Do agree on the looks of GTR though, it was built by a machine not a person, still think the R33 and R34 look better than the R35 and the designs are decades old. What about a big old american V8, a Challenger or something? http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/dodge/challenger/2012-dodge-challenger-5-7-r-t-hemi-v8-auto/4484401
  16. Interestingly this is worth asking frequently in some shape...tyre leader has a deal on at the moment on Falken ZE914 (or similar I cant remember) which is a capable tyre. I am pretty sure deals come up all the time across all the main sites.
  17. Looking at your mod list mate your Zed should go quickly, price it up to sell, put together a great advert and live somewhere close to big populations and bingo you should be fine. Yes lightweight sports cars rock eh - feels like you are climbing into an F1 car everytime you take it for a spin!
  18. Yes one you should buy and drive on sunny summer days and tuck away in a box the rest of the time. But not worth that at the moment...its just completely out of kilter, its like he is charging what it will be worth in 10 years time.
  19. Never too late to sell a car mate, there will always be buyers just less or more depending on multitudes of variables. I sold my VX in November (which the forum would have told you was impossible) within two weeks of putting it up for sale - you just have to have a great advert and a price that tempts. Glad you are enjoying the VX, amazing cars aren't they, just a whole new level of driving experience
  20. I know some chaps over in Emsworth who rent out full ramp/lift services (something like £50 for the day) if you ever need it mate let me know!
  21. Welcome mate, good write up, some observations there that most would agree with I think. The looks are of course subjective but I agree, roof down car looks ace, roof up it looks all a bit odd like it was put together using parts from different cars, the lines do not work at all. Targa top would have been cool Performance you mean as in acceleration? Zeds are lardy, with the roof gear in even more so, not sure what the paper times are for it (6 to 6.5 seconds 0-60 as a benchmark?) which puts it on par with most modern hot hatches etc. Its a cracking GT car though and pulls along motorways nicely.
  22. Refurb the calipers fully? (not sure if thats what you meant by freeing up the calipers) Either that or as people said get brembos although used sets go for well over £500 from what I have seen. I have a car with 20 year old brakes on it, calipers have been fully refurbished including seals and pistons and they work absolutely fine.
