  1. Personally, I would focus on the car for the looks and brakes for effectiveness! Heard various internet stories about avoiding drilled discs on cars, but who knows what is true and what isn't. On mine I ended up going for grooved discs. Now onto my second VX220 and in a community of people that track cars all the time, they are much less focused on the discs and put their £s towards the pads.
  2. Have clippers, am keeping the back and sides short but might let the top grow (as much as it can imagine Zinedine Zidane )
  3. Good work guys, and thanks for a great quote last week, I took you up on it
  4. Cheers mate. Also note the new handbrake. Much bigger and more comfortable than the OEM one small things make all the difference!
  5. Perfect situation to try a bit of home made modding. Bought an offcut of the blue alcantara that was used for my seats and door cards, and lined the inside of the fabric roof with it! Gorilla tape worked fine, lets see how long it lasts given you have to roll on and off the roof each time. It does change the interior feel as it being a brighter colour reflects light back down into the cabin.
  6. It is heaven for cyclists they are out in force around here. Saw some police cars heading for Richmond Park so imagine they are heading there to try and sort out the idiocy
  7. Sorry not Zed related but one I think we can all relate to - Car Throttle is my fav channel at the moment https://youtu.be/tJSl1meE-6w

  9. Walked to the top of my road to the little super market to get milk etc this morning and literally hundreds of cyclists out enmasse on their way to start do circuits of Richmond Park. Then you read this https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-52172035 and to be honest I cannot blame the government because despite everything, all the extra deaths, the appeals from NHS including our very own gangzoom that they are contributing to the problem, there are still a minority that just dont give a @*!# because they have invented their own rules in their own heads that makes it all alright. Can really see us heading the way of Spain, strict lockdown, laws put in place to heavily fine and arrest people. And it will be the above that will be the first to moan.
  10. I have had quite a lot pop up on my YT home page lately, will drop the links in when I see another! Good idea
  11. Spoke to my Dad this morning, 1:30am cars were tearing up and down outside his house playing loud music - they could all be keyworkers for sure, but I highly doubt it. Tomorrow is the biggie with the sun coming out and 20 degrees of heat in the south, some people who feel they have nothing to lose i.e. those that are younger, will be out in force - how much of a negative impact that has on the progress made we will see by the following weekend.
  12. How quickly does a K4 get through a bucket vs say a Hydroshot? The pressure is obviously higher, would that result in the bucket going empty very quickly?
  13. Thanks for helping out, I am sure no one had a clue what I was on about
  14. Myself and the management team (5 of us) are having friday drinks at 3:30 today over skype
  15. Check and clean all your current grounds
  16. There is I believe some data in Horsham developments website about this...I got one years ago and must noticed nothing (many people call it snake oil) but it does look cool if you get a nice colour! if you have acceleration stutter would recommend posting up details for forum members to comment on
  17. In case anyone missed it, if your MOT was due to expire after the 30th of March it will get an automatic 6 month extension https://www.gov.uk/guidance/coronavirus-covid-19-mots-for-cars-vans-and-motorcycles-due-from-30-march-2020
  18. Bandit Screen - good name! In the supermarkets they now have plastic screens up with the awful name of 'Spit Screens'
  19. I was thinking of doing FOS this year, given whats happened might see how the next couple of months go and take a chance on Revival tickets!
  20. Yes this is definitely a high level fiasco at the moment, clubs which charge working class £70 to watch a football match, that pay footballers incredible wages, continue to pay their footballers their salary and take government money to pay for non playing staff. How this hasn't made more of a headline is astonishing. The money is for businesses that will simply collapse in the coming months, Spurs and Newcastle will not collapse, they simply saw an opportunity and took it quite unethically in my book. The playing staff are a huge percentage of a clubs costs, a token 10% pay cut for a few months by them would more than cover the non playing staff costs.
  21. Would it end up close to Revival then?
  22. Im pretty convinced anything this side of August will be cancelled. If they are knocking off Wimbledon etc. the smaller events will surely follow suit.
  23. Must admit just read that Spurs Norwich and Newcastle have furloughed non playing staff. Struggling a bit with this...it’s government cash designed to, on the whole, keep small businesses afloat. Spurs made something like £70m profit last year, yet whilst there players continue being paid in full to the tune if millions per week the other staff get 80% And the money is coming from a pot designed to support financially struggling businesses...
  24. 130 odd cases in Richmond out of 150,000 or so which is a very low incidence, I suspect the job profile around here lends itself more to London office jobs and many people have been indoors for two plus weeks?
