  1. The gap between the pre and post remap is whats important, Area Under The Line Max numbers are for quoting, day to day they mean very little.
  2. So when do we think all the big flags and national coverage will properly start for the referendum, all pretty low key at the moment and its not that far off...
  3. ...more importantly though, could you vote for him
  4. Must be hell driving one!
  5. Wind farms do get repaired, they tend to break down only when they are supplied with duff parts otherwise are pretty robust. It seems a simple decision at the moment, there are people that really don't care how they get from A-B and grouped in with them are people that generally do not care for cars, they will want to go EV with a passion. Then there are people that enjoy the mechanical theatre of driving, so why would you want that taken away from you, you wont go EV. You will get people that are lucky enough to be able to afford both, but at the moment they are a tiny %. It seems to me that EV makers want to on the whole go down a route of creating cars like out of sci fi movies with everything digital in the cabin and no noise with futuristic swooshes on the bodywork. Personally, I don't like the look, sound or interior in that way hence the thumbs down on EV cars from me.
  6. I guess it all depends on the strength of opinion in political parties and the public on leaving. A fair few countries in the EU like being in the EU, I know when I lived in France being able to travel freely by land without a passport across Europe and use the same currency and not invoke taxes crossing borders was an absolute godsend as I was travelling nearly every week, my team was spread across France, Germany, Belgium, Spain, Greece etc.
  7. Trump will, if he got in, be shown up as pretty much the same as all that came before him. Most of the stuff he promises is so impossible to implement without international condemnation the soothsayers at the white house I am sure would never allow it. You can't just shout down people that offer a different view in international politics..!
  8. Sounds like you have already decided on the R32..? It will certainly climb in value vs the Zed if thats something you feel is important. Zed is a heavier GT car, loads of power, lazy driving style with the gears. In terms of the Zed engine, they are good for many miles, they go pop if poorly maintained like any engine.
  9. The EU will always be stronger with economies like ours, the UK is leading the EU out of a global recession in terms of growth. The EU could well lose out in terms of stability of the bloc and a number of other ways economics work - ultimately though it will have significant trading capability with the rest of the world including the states and China etc.
  10. It will but until there is something on the table that resembles a strategy from us who knows what will happen. This is fundamentally an issue, the Stay campaign are literally saying it is what it is. The onus is on the Leave campaign to prove that they have a strategy I can trust and believe in to vote for, like a political manifesto, how can I possibly vote for something that has no basis or plan?
  11. I think the Stay campaign would simply point towards the extra tariffs the UK will have to pay into Europe to trade which would easily cover it. However, they might not, but until we know what business model the Leave campaign want to adopt its hard to say.
  12. Ultimately though, this type of thing is useless - particularly the $20 per day bit. Is that adjusted for Purchasing Power Parity? $20 in India is very different to $20 in the UK Aye fair point, it was a pretty basic video but I think highlights some important points. A third of the world sleeps without a roof over their heads for instance. I think we forget sometimes just how lucky we are in the UK financially...
  13. Saw a great video analysing the world based on 100 people - so representing the global population by 100 identical person stick men (stick people if you want to be politically correct). Some interesting images included that just 6 people from the 100 earn more than $20 a day, the majority of people in the UK are in that group of 6 out of 100. 1 person out of 100 holds 50% of the worlds wealth.
  14. What a surprise! It's everywhere, all the forums I visit, social media, meets etc... Would be nice to have proper debates and awareness campaigns before voting... Unfortunately it will go down the same route as Scotlands vote, the Leave campaign telling everyone that they will all be so much better off out and throwing big numbers about. The Stay campaign putting down the claims then being classed as Project Fear, and the tit for tat that follows. 'Project Fear' does wind me up though, I can understand politicians for the Leave campaign using that language but I am hearing everyday people using it too. You may as well call the Leave campaign Project Head in the Clouds under the same pretenses - both are childish and stupid ways of looking at what is a huge decision. What is missing is Project Lets Work Out What The Realistic Options Are To Leave And Then Compare Them To Our Current Economic Performance And Make A Risk Assessment And Try And Make An Informed Vote Accordingly - although understand its not quite as catchy as the other two...
  15. Never got pulled in my R33, although I am going grey and do not look like your typical 'pull them over profile' type character..! Slightly concerned that you were going to follow them until they stopped, what if they were on a road trip to Glasgow at what point would you have given up
  16. I did mention a fair few posts back that the ECHR was something the UK instigated, again not something Europe imposed on us. I read Sky News today (wish I hadnt) and they had a map of votes for Brexit vs not. They frame it as if its a poll, when it fact it was done with social stereotyping. Astonishing really that they pretty much framed it as this. You only had to read the comments below from many people that you realise so many people (well Sky News readers anyway) know almost nothing about what they are so vehemently voting for. That they want change to immigration, ECHR etc so are voting out, without spending even a few minutes to even understand if voting out would actually achieve this.
  17. I took the Zed to Bruges, its a good short run as Euro road trips go
  18. I wonder if its something we bring on ourselves though? I would say people that own a 350z are more likely to be say in the outside lane of a motorway than on the inside, out there you are more likely to encounter tail gaiters giving it some for example. Clearly doesn't account for all incidents, but I am sure plenty of people on here drive in a way that encourages these encounters...just taking a cold hard look at ourselves maybe
  19. Either that or reach over to your passenger seat, put on the fireproof balaclava and crash helmet, flick a load of switches installed on the dash into the ON and DRAG MODE positions, then see what they do...

    GT-Four

Attended a GTFour meet yesterday afternoon, despite mine being the most unmodified one there it didn't look out of place although upon hearing a Blitz Nur Spec R exhaust on one of them I absolutely must have one as my next modification and lose the Japspeed, it sounded epic
  21. Maybe get it a dinky little wooly jumper to put on when not in use?
  22. Engines are pretty solid if looked after, but thats the chance you run, find a high miler on a forum with a build thread might give you some confidence?
  23. £5.5k - £6k max? Check on AT, PH and eBay for similar cars and see what the list price is and knock about 10% off.
  24. Anything that doesn't look like a boring saloon car gets this, its not a Zed thing don't worry. People wanted it when I had my Zed, when I had my R33 and now in the Celica even more so as it looks a bit boy racey with its huge rear wing. Funnily enough never got any bother from people when in the VX220...
