I suspect some people have had that combo, although I tend to worry more about spending decent money on the pads and just getting a standard set of discs. The consensus on the VX forum given they are all track guys is that pads is where the budget should go!

Yeah had an HSBC text which was the same text you would normally get from a bank, link on it which looks legit, etc. If I actually had an HSBC account I might easily have clicked it! A friend of mine posted on FB showing a scam, where someone had tried something on, clearly though they were amateurs as they sent it from their actual email address which had a picture of them on the account, so my friend forwarded it to various officials to deal with it.

The idea was to post up an accompanying you tube vid to support your claim but agree LFA sounds superb!

Thought it would be fun to start a thread of your favourite exhaust sounds from non-zeds. Someone on FB VX page asked the other day what the VSE sounded like so I pointed them at an old YT video I made of mine on my old VX220. I only then noticed it has had over a 1000 views and that quite a few people on the FB group said they used my video to make the decision to buy a VSE on their car Here is said video, but my favourite sounding exhaust has to be the F12 Ferrari, it just sounds Appreciate this clip is not the OEM F12 exhaust which is still amazing, but still, it sounds absolutely fantastic hearing the engine revs rise and drop so fast along with that exhaust note So lets hear your favourite exhaust notes

You could do with trimming the edges and flattening the creases out on that wrap mate...

About 9:50 this morning cruising down Sheen Road, I was with my son walking along just before the shell garage. Think it was a Nismo, and silver! Was really hard to see the sun was pretty bright!

We had some similar things coming around at work, funny enough one of them was not to feel guilty if you are not keeping in touch with family over digital medium. I think everyone has gone a bit crazy in terms of over contacting people much more than they would normally, the conversation generally tends to centre around death and disease, and people are getting no downtime. Me time is important when you are stuck indoors with other people for extended periods!

I know we have quite differences of opinions on what makes a fun car but think we both agree that the frontline key workers are doing an amazing job right now - if we ever meet will buy you a beer. The thing is, they were doing an amazing job all along but took a pandemic for the population to recognise it instead of moaning about it. Lets hope once we are through all this countries governments stop running the NHS (and other public services) on a shoestring and gives everyone the reward and recognition they have always deserved.

Are the LC500's cheap? Cheapest one is still £50k and new they are something like £75k for base price? Agree though stunning cars!

If a wrap is done properly it lasts years, loads of cars wrapped professionally last years out in the sun/heat/rain/snow etc. The ones you read about failing are usually where the person has used cheap ebay vinyl, and not applied it properly with proper curing process.
-
There is a chap that sells emblems on here (look under traders) Centre dash you can get vinyl wrapped - I used satin black and it came up really nice Door handles, do you mean the grabs which are black on the doors? They often get scuffed, again a vinyl wrap will give decent level of protection and newer look

I agree, there are the two groups but I would define them somewhat differently. Firstly as you say you have the profiteering who are doing something they already have a strong belief in and the internet is an enabler for them to drive revenue and garner an echo chamber for them to get their feel good factor. The second group is all of us. I think we all have false beliefs to some degree, I mean there are some people that think throttle controllers do something their foot cannot for instance but this isn't a bad thing, in fact I think its healthy we are trying to develop our own world around us safely. What I think is there is a spectrum of that second group, and as you travel along it you find those that are always looking for a greater meaning in lots of things, who need a reason for everything that happens, those are the ones that will hook onto conspiracy ideals and more often than not its more than one, its many. Its just a psychological trait of that person i.e. a need for certainty. Does their psychological makeup allow them to just accept Diana died in a tragic car accident or does it have to have a bigger meaning? This isn't a mental illness or anything drastic, its just a quirk of that type of person. The 5G conspiracy is very dangerous though, you know what if people want to believe the moon landings didnt happen thats fine, its not actually endangering people but tearing down phone masts both 5G and otherwise is impacting the work of the NHS as you mentioned Stu and people are dying because there are a tiny group of people out there who are xenophobic profiteers spreading very badly executed 'tests' on you tube. Anyone sharing videos of 5G conspiracies are in fact hurting the very services they are proclaiming to go outside and clap for each week.
-
But those that have first hand experience but no actual understanding of how stuff works is even worse. Basically 90% of all hysteria around conspiracies are caused by the home page on You Tube. It shows you your normal stuff i.e. cars or whatever people are into etc but then shows the occasional borderline stuff to see if you are tempted. So 5G video will appear, if you click it and watch it through you tube will shows you more and it perpetuates itself making the viewer think it’s actually a thing. How many of those producing videos saying 5G causes biological viruses are scientists vs how many are conspiracy you tubers with no scientific qualifications whatsoever...

Having subscribed to Disney+ due to a certain requirement to sit in the house a lot - have introduced my wife and 8 year old son to the world of Star Wars....we just watched Rogue One tonight, saw Solo the other day, watching episodes 4 to 9 last week. As my son sits upstairs in bed right now with some lego spaceships he has made going 'pew pew pew' it got me thinking, what movies have you never seen but you know you should have. I haven't seen Quadrophenia, The God Father, Breakfast Club and people keep telling me to watch Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.
-
5G operates in radio waves within very normal parameters, they do of course give off radiation, like any wave, but its so tiny, what those conspiracy videos don't tell you is that for instance TV remotes give off more deadly radiation that is of a higher frequency than 5G - yet we aren't all running around burning Samsung and LG remotes in a panic. As usual, internet myth drives panic behaviour from otherwise normally rational people
-
I think the bigger concern is that mainstream TV presenters seem to be entertaining the idea that 5G masts are causing everything as part of some sort of master plan

Where are you getting this information about supermarkets? All are open, if they arent its not because of the lockdown but for other reasons (most likely because of panic shopping). Spains lockdown is slightly different to the UKs in that exercise isn't allowed in the same way ours is, which is why you cannot be seen going for a walk. Otherwise its exactly the same and has no impact on the sale or supply of food - I guess it depends on who you speak with, my son is doing Spanish lessons online and his teacher who is in Madrid says getting food has been fine. The only reason shops are short of stuff, is because people are stockpiling. If they shopped as normal, as they are allowed to do during a lockdown, then stuff doesn't run out, why would it if people bought what they normally bought. Shopping habits in the UK are pretty much back to pre-socialmediapanic levels. Food shortages have nothing to do with lockdowns, only with people panicking and stockpiling, this is a really important fact that is getting lost in the myth pandemic flying about the internet. I wont repeat the above paragraph on this thread again, promise

What was so different about Spains lockdown that meant people couldn't get food?

Definitely fix it up - although would be then thinking about what you want to do with it longer term. Might be a good donor car for someone for a project or something?
