  1. Ping! http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/105709-retrimmed-dashboard-non-350z-370z/
  2. Mondo on here? Had done a few 300zx's and did Paycos car, having seens Paycos up close its stunning work on the seats.
  3. The previous owner had the leather seats put in, no idea where he got them, could be Gen7 seats. Sorry my sig is misleading it means seats not the trim, couldnt fit any more words in! But would like to retrim in leather, think that would be amazing and make a huge difference. If you google For Flocks Sake (on facebook) there is a guy that retrims in flock at a really good rate and has done loads of GT4s.
  4. ...and buy 400 litres of oil at the same time
  5. Having looked into Darrens 240z its amazing how much of it matches up - from the struts, to where the braces would go - with the boot open looking in you could be forgiven for squinting and thinking you are looking at a 350z interior make up.
  6. Sorry to hear, as its said cars can be replaced, missing limbs not so easily, still gutting to lose something you put so much time into - glad you are safe and well though by the sounds of it.

    Future Classics

Always found the Hyundai Coupe V6 hilarious, a 2.7 litre V6? With circa 170bhp? What utterly bizarre thought process went into that? As always a certain humble 256bhp permanent 4WD homologation rally car gets overlooked one day I tell you, the world will open its eyes
  8. Looks like it did indeed achieve its goal of putting you in a hedge...
  9. Might be worth finding out if it has been converted (suspect it has) and who did it, it does require about £1k worth of parts and a good 2-3 days work including cutting holes in the bulkhead by all accounts. I almost went down that route myself before I got the Celica after I sold my R33. I would actually spend some time googling as there can't be many out there in black with this done, you might stumble across some history on it.
  10. I looks like a manual conversion? As it has the tiptronic switches on the steering wheel? Could be wrong?
  11. I would say S15 turbos are around £10k and rising? NAs much cheaper. I actually like a mildly fettled S14, a small drop and conservative body kit and it looks nicely planted and more modern. I have actually read more articles on the internet about Evo's blowing up than RX7s
  12. Whats up with the 300zx? I went out in a fair few when looking around and even when out in an auto NA the guy booted it and it went at a fair rate of knots. Or what about an Impreza or the like? You can open the back doors to get the baby seat in the back rather than squatting in the footwell with the passenger seat pulled forwards Or for £10k you can have my Celica
  13. Nothing wrong with 2 litres turbo's

    GT-Four

I couldn't get on with the one i bought, It just kept marring my paint. Maybe i had a crap one. I got a carpro one, lots of rapid detailer as well to ensure no marring. Someone on Detailingworld used a diluted solution of IronX which I think is a great idea.

I am completely sold on the clay mitts, so much more practical and really do have the same effectiveness as a bar.

    GT-Four

Perfect day for a clean, also purchased a clay mitt...and after one use subsequently binned my clay bar, wow how much easier was that. I wasn't holding out much expectation, but it really does do the job in a fraction of the time. Anyway, just under three hours to go through a detox clay polish and wax and a nice end result...
  18. Most 240z's engines are as was either, so don't worry! Will be worth more if you rebuild

    2003 350GT

This car is UTTERLY STUNNING, how to turn something from stock to amazing with some great imagination. It all works so well!
  20. If its predecessors are anything to go by then you are looking at holding the car in good nick for at least another 20 years, the money you spend on it in that time, would it be worth it - unless you got a big lock up somewhere...
  21. One of the calmest and considered responses by a newbie to a bit of forum ribbing I have ever seen - hats off there gentleman!
