  1. Pretty sure some photoshop gurus on here could take a photo you have and put different colours on the car such as GM and Silver etc.
  2. Thanks guys, AA is £195 but you get a £50 fuel voucher, so would need some haggling come renewal time I would imagine to get it down to comparable ongoing levels of the others.
  3. After the wife's Megane gave up at the weekend (gear linkage snapped) in the middle of nowhere 160 miles from home, have decided to get some family breakdown cover. I had some for myself with the AA for the Scotland trip but she only had breakdown assistance, of course it ended up being a pricey recovery for her when the AA guy said he didn't have a spare Megane gear linkage kit in the van... ...so investigating the costs of getting a dual/family cover for myself and her. The three big hitters are Green Flag, AA and RAC all coming in at around £150 a year for us both with onward journey cover, homestart, recovery etc. So anyone have views on which of the three are best? A look online pops up a few unknowns like GEM, any views on these up-starts? Cheers in advance as always
  4. Good deal that, in great nick and bronze looks great on black!
  5. Oh don't get me wrong, there were 'moments' but that doesn't make for a great tournament. 51 matches and I can probably recall 3 or 4 being any good and I watched a lot of them. Germans played a lot of passing with no end product, I was sat with a German last night and he said it was a poor tournament by their standards with very little end product. Wales Belgium was a good game, France Iceland was a huge mismatch, Spain under performed. I think in hindsight looking at the format it meant smaller teams can progress but it meant they had to defend like crazy to do it. Portugal progressed without winning a single group game - the third placed qualification just ruins the style of game.
  6. It was one of the worst tournaments overall in living memory. The joke is if England were properly managed and organised and took their form players looking at what I saw last night they would have fancied winning that. I didn't see any team France/Germany/Italy aside that looked particularly world class. Germany were so naive only taking one recognised striker who subsequently got injured and messing around with these false 9's. Really was a poor tournament finished off with a shocking final, reminded me of the Argentina Germany in 1990 which ruined a great tournament.
  7. Absolutely this. Utter dross from a team who went out not to lose rather than win each game. Every Portugese game was dull as dishwater.
  8. I agree, my point was that Hurst is still celebrated just because he scored three goals in a WC final. Trophies do matter. But it doesn't make him a better player than another striker of his era who didn't win the world cup. Which was the point of the original post. This makes absolutely no difference in terms of if Ronaldo is a better player than Messi.
  9. Ha! Wales were really poor against Portugal! The real winners were, erm, the agents selling over rated players for stupid money to muppets that own Premier League clubs.
  10. It was a dreadful final. Portugal played for penalties from minute 1. It really was poor. France took off their match winners and put on average players. Farce all round really.
  11. Geoff was a sub because Greavsie was injured. And wasn't a world class player, just made it in the final game. Didnt set the world alight in the national league either. Geoff Hurst was never seen as a world class player. Bobby Moore was however and was head and shoulders above Hurst as a player. It doesn't make they entire team world class though. Martin Peters was a better player than Hurst.
  12. But their international team, which was the point, you know what I mean. Puskas was one of the greatest players ever, but what did Hungary win? Di Stefano was probably one of the most amazing midfielders ever, never won an international honour. Pointing towards international games means nothing.
  13. Irrelevant. What if the next player to score 1000 club goals in the champions league is from Fiji, they wont win a trophy but you wouldn't say they are the best player. ...and Ronaldo didn't play most of the game, and one game aside in the tournament was ineffective.
  14. Oh my god. Football did not win tonight, the eyesore that is Portugal who played for penalties from the first minute fluke a winner. That said, Didier putting on Gignac AGAIN when he is clearly not international class, Corman again who is not international class either. Some utterly shocking French subs.
  15. Definitely a penalty, you cant lead with your hands up above your head if defending a cross. If you watch before he even got near the player he was waving his hands deliberately up there realising he had lost his man. Penalty all day and a great decision.
  16. Great game, Germany with all the possession well and truly had a number done on them. Not often you say Low made a squad selection error but lack of strikers in the squad hurt them tonight with Gomez out injured.
  17. Yes if I could take one thing out the game its the abuse and disrespect that players give to the players. It is right there for all to see at every game absolutely disgusting language - every time a linesman makes a call the player is gesticulating at them. And how many times the player is wrong...
  18. I played rugby at school, have to say its fun playing (as a winger) but I find it dull as dishwater watching. You can pretty much predict the winner of any match at international level except when maybe NZ play Australia, and outside the top 4 or 5 countries there is so little competition internationally. What I love about football is that its worth cheering for the underdog because there is a chance they can spring a win football does leave it very much open for a shock result moreso than rugby. I also find things like scrums and line outs just kill time in rugby, on average the ball is live and in play in rugby for something like 30 minutes out of 80. Football is much higher. I agree though football players 'playing' for the decision came about because if they don't the ref doesn't give it. The amount of shirt pulling on the refs blindside is getting so out of hand, if you don't go down you won't get the decision. Blatant out and out play acting should result in a one match ban. Some of it is so obvious it a joke.
  19. Refs are so inconsistent its ridiculous. But having been mates with a guy that got close to reffing premier league you wouldn't believe the sh*t they get from managers and the like as well as the FA telling them to do this and do that. The Refs association is the poor man of the game and are pretty much bullied week in week out. How often do we see players effing off at officials but they have been told they cannot send off a player for it, yet do it on a pitch over the park on a sunday morning its instant red card.
  20. We all know that the tough rugby players go home and cry like girls when they lose, they just pretend to be tough and unaffected by it on camera
  21. If you don't watch football then you won't understand the game that was played out. Mentally neither team wanted to lose, both were under committing in attack which led to a deadlock - it really was just a super-human header from Ronaldo that swung the game, how he got that high and hung there, freakish. Often tight games like that that its a case of being the team less likely to make a mistake or the one with the moment of brilliance that wins. This is often the case in tournament matches where one goal can mean tournament exit, as Dan said, the occasion got to them and they couldn't climb out of that defensive shell. Fingers crossed for France tonight, such an exciting team to watch, would love to see them win their home tournament.
  22. Well out go Wales - I know Bale said they were proud (no less than 9 times I think in that interview!) but I was actually disappointed that against probably one of the weaker teams they barely got a clean shot on goal. I think they got found out a bit and seemed to go out without really trying to find a plan B (sounds like England!) to break down the Portuguese team. Still they exceeded expectations, so will get a rousing reception back home.

    Clay bars

If you want to use detailing spray just buy the concentrate plus use an old spray bottle and dilute to what you need, lasts ages.
  24. ...a new sticker in the rear driver side window?
  25. Yeah that was my first thought as well about bikes, bit of a joke really.
