    GT-Four

Ace Cafe last night, starting to grow on me the black roof it does look better in the flesh than a photo captures. Plenty of positive comments last night.

    GT-Four

Yeah not 100% myself, will leave it a while see if it grows on me!

    GT-Four

Felt a little change was needed
  4. Trump is a small moustache away from barking out rhetoric at Nuremburg. He is incredibly dangerous, if he was running to be president of some insignificant economy of the world then so what, but this is the US, its not funny and its not a game, its terrifying that someone so narrow minded could be in charge.

    Interior Wrap

The only advantage of wrapping is cost, if you are a handy kind of person, a £10 roll of carbon wrap will sort out most parts on the interior. Dipping will run into three figures but look better. Or if you want to go a little crazy order some real carbon fibre sheets, all the glues and resins and wrap it in real carbon fibre looks much better than dipping. Takes time and skills though!
  6. As mentioned before Trump has hardly covered himself in glory in the business arena. He took over from his fathers real estate business which even back in the 60s was worth millions of dollars, he never built it up using his own business nous. In fact he has been bankrupt a number of times. Successful? Maybe. Maybe not. What worries me is his continued isolation of the US in the world by pretty much humiliating anyone that argues against his point of view. He is incapable of reasoned debate and not open minded enough to be in control of such a diverse country which holds such global clout.
  7. Lesser of two evils, Clinton please, at least to have some sanity in this world which over the last few months has gone utterly mental. Politics in this country is a joke at the moment (although fair play to May the other day in PMQs she savaged Corbyn and looked every inch a strong leader whilst Corbyn continues to look utterly gutless).
  8. Black was a nightmare to keep looking clean, white was great for some reason. Red is so so...
  9. I like rocket bunny on a few cars, but the zed just aint one of them I am afraid. A genuinely good looking car like a zed doesn't need cutting up like that. Sorry not for me
  10. Can...not...resist....photo...moment....on....wax...topic...thread... How even something like Megs compound machine polished and layers of supernatural can create shine on a black car credit wasso.
  11. I think the post at the top hit it on the head, personal thing. All the waxes above are reasonably priced if you spend ten gazillion pounds on one it will probably be markedly better. So my shout out is for the little known Victoria Concours Wax does a great job on my GT4
  12. Had an Asda van hit our Focus, damage to wing and bonnet and it was a write off, doesn't take much nowadays but the process was really quick dealing direct with their insurers. We also got a great first offer as well. That looked like one hell of an impact as well, were you parked on the kerb overnight as it looks like your tyres are up on the kerb or were you shunted up there.

  14. It is quite an easy mod whilst the dash is out so worth considering, just means you sacrifice two blowers for your new air system! Think they are something like 4inch speakers that go in there, pretty sure there is a mod guide on the forum for doing it. Otherwise its a doddle to fit new ones behind the seats, stubby screwdriver and its a 10 minute job switching them over to something a bit more meaty. Have you taken the dash fascia off yet? the long rectangular part? Its only taped on so easy to remove and the shape makes it easy to spray/wrap/dip etc to suit the colour of the car and really brightens up the interior. I went for a red carbon dip on mine
  15. You done well there they were the proverbial rocking horses teeth covered in gold dust Actually if you cared for the choons in the car, people whilst the dash is out often put some small speakers behind the outer most circular dash vents. Although suspect you would not want to add the weight...!
  16. Somewhat unsurprisingly they don't seem to offer that? http://www.knightracer.com/service.htm
  17. Good work getting the fezz unit, not many kicking around at the moment, or did he start making them again?
  18. Nooooooo - still some nice evenings this week! When I bought mine it was 32 degrees that day and I drove it from Cheltenham to London leaving Cheltenham at 8:30pm getting back around 11pm in London...the whole way with the roof down, it was a divine driving experience.
  19. Could well have been, it was a joke though, Taras lined up the part against the car and it was so short it was laughable. Who would copy that then look at the finished product and think 'yeah that works great lets sell em'
  20. Yes its this, its cheap for RB, but why would you put it on a track car? I would pay half that for a common kit that will get battered. And it will require probably £x worth of fitting/fabrication cost on top of the £1000. Sometimes stuff just doesn't fit at all, when RTP were doing something on my car they showed me some side skirts a member had bought and they were around an inch too short, absolutely no fitting expertise can sort that out really!
  21. Thats it really, cheap and cheerful - don't expect it to line up with other body parts, get what you pay for really.
  22. I believe there is a link back to a certain character called Rik from the 350z long and distant past... I have heard more than enough stories of people buying from them and finding poor fitting only then to have lots of trouble getting refunds etc.

    GT-Four

Got hold of some high temperature matt black paint and painted the turbo heatshield which needed some TLC. I also ordered some M1 Gtechniq metal polish, it is safe on chrome as well as many other metals and cleaned up the strut braces, they came up great! Never using Autosol again ...and it was lovely and warm, so waited for the sun to pass behind the house so could clean the car in the shade
