Cannot comment on a Zed but having had the alignment done on my GT4 recently it has the potential to make a huge difference for such a relatively small outlay. I plan to get mine checked more regularly now I have had it done once. I used Wheels in Motion, fantastic and reputable company.

Be careful with that, you should have rejected it when you received, they could actually start playing silly buggars saying you did it and not take a refund...just a watch out.

If you click into forums, then in the search for Engine Carbon Clean and click search, magic will happen I had a quick look and there seems to be quite a few previous threads on the subject, should have all you need...

Looks a shocker mate, get your money back, pay a bit more for something decent otherwise it will cost you a bomb to even try and get it to fit. Whats with the crack? Was that there when it arrived?

I guess its what you really want at the end of the day. I have said in the past I actually love cars that are exclusive/rare and would rate that over reliability for instance, the trade off works in that favour. Again having never been in a 4C but having a bit of a love affair of lightweight cars after my VX220 experience, I did a fair bit of reading up on the 4C and it didn't make for good reading. Poor on road performance in terms of handling and feedback, lots of tramlining, droney exhaust when sat inside, poor interior. I guess the Evo review sums it up it seems: + Incredible looks and exotic chassis - Engine, steering, cabin quality It looks nice, not many around, but maybe the reason for not many being around is that they simply arent as good as the alternatives? Only way to know for sure is test drive a few different cars and see what grabs your attention!

Could be wrong but pretty sure Docwra or Jetpilot have had one of these in the past. To be honest, you are better off joining an RX7 forum and seeing if they have any history on the car, there aren't that many about.

Thanks for all the donations guys, considering some of you have never even met Rebecca we were blown away by the generosity and the amounts people donated, amazing, thank you. Rebecca hasn't got her time back yet but unofficially we think its in the 2 hour 15 minute mark. Thanks again all Alfie broke ranks from the spectators at the finish line and acted as a pacemaker for the final 100 metres as well

I had Falken 452s on mine - as you say if you are not one for booting it around they suffice. I have Vreds on my car now, bit better than the Falkens I find and good prices.
-
MPSS are much better than Falkens, much more expensive too. I would suspect it is the profile then as people have mentioned...

Do let us know tyre brands, budget brands will very quickly find and go past their capabilities in a zed.

I thought you said flooding, not landslides and rock falls!

4 wheel drive R33 GTR does the same job though

+1 on GTechniq brilliant stuff.

But that's not the case GZ mate, I think most people get the EV, but until they outperform the incumbent and are a viable replacement then why 'change' ? There will always be a small group of people (called innovators and early adopters if you want the technical term from diffusion of technology theories) who will buy ahead of the curve and take the hit on price paying much more than the product is actually worth because of the need to recover sunk development costs but that doesn't mean those following are resistant to change, they just don't see the need to change at that time. For example, at the moment there is no charging capability anywhere near me, I live in a city (somewhat ironically where people say EVs are most effective is actually the most difficult place to own one) so driveway space is rare and expensive so home charging is not an option. They are still so much in their infancy, its not inconceivable that something else could as Dan said pop up and usurp it. Everyone said Betamax was the future when it launched, as well as Laser discs, etc.

Random trips over, cuts their knee, 6 months later you are still paying out the compensation!

There are a few EVs dotted around Richmond, those house owners with a fair bit of wodge to afford one with a drive. They are however always accompanied by a BMW or the like as well. So imagine they are not being relied on as a sole means of transport. For me they actually are not that great for cities, unless you can charge the things up. Its an absurd concept for somewhere like Richmond if you have no driveway, you would have to drive off out somewhere miles away to go get the car charged, sit with the car whilst it charges, then drive it home. There are three petrol stations within 2 minutes drive of my house. There is currently absolutely no business case for myself or in fact anyone living on our road for buying an EV right now.

Every link prompts a malicious link warning

Thanks for the feedback Chris, the team have been aware of some pop ups appearing from time to time over the past month or so and are on the case as we speak. -
To update those who kindly donated (and any that find a few pennies down the back of the sofa!) Rebecca is going to be running this at the weekend. A big reduction in chocolate and wine intake (its been tough!) and increase in 10k runs means she is in good shape for the weekend and really looking forward to it. Very close to target as well. Thanks again all above who chipped in will let you know how she gets on!

so fitting the spacer and having a remap is more of a placebo effect? and dont get me wrong ...now im used to the zed i much prefer the extra v6 torque over reving the t1ts off my previous car to extract power . im just really asking why the newer 350s have a bigger rev range and would it benefit my older DE having this extra range or would it just rev higher while making no extra power in doing so? Not placebo at all, but you can easily spend £2000 on an exhaust, HFCs, spacer, remap and then find you get 5%-10% more power and a slight increase in rev range - it wont ever bring you back to the free revving Honda space, the dynamics just wont and cannot change on the V6 in that way...
