Good effort on the unique front, although if I am honest not entirely sure on the step, it seems to exacerbate the 'squaredness' of the side skirts and drops it a bit too much. But hey, overall the car is a stunner!

I *think* you will need a window motor reset - vaguely remember something about this, taking the card of and manually intervening. Have a search through for window reset procedure otherwise a more knowledgable person will be along shortly I am sure...

Sliding big sunroof with wind-deflector. I like the big slide out sunroofs actually, have one on our megane. Rear lights are a bit too subtle for a big car...

I mention the Supra due to the power holding capability of the engine as standard. Other engines need forging etc. But really, there are better bases to start from if you want something to drive down the strip. In terms of peak power on the remap on the zed, its kind of irrelevant, as is peak power as a measurement in any case. If you are looking for remaps and the like its the area under the graph that makes all the difference to what you 'feel' as you never drive around with the car sat at 6000rpm constantly where the power is. Especially notable on turbo cars, get a nice big turbo that gives 500bhp peak but gives you naff all at revs under 4k rpm for instance. Back on topic, personally I would not throw the extra money at the 370, its easy to upgrade interiors, there is extra power to be had but if you are a power fiend going from 280 to 320 or the like will probably be something of an anti-climax.

Plenty of well done SC 350s on here, it shouldn't be a problem getting that up and running and looking after it, you will find a fair few owners on here in similar cars. As above, if you want to keep going and going then you might want to start with a turbo car out the box. Supra's are good for it etc.

Good to see them having a crack to be honest, healthy competition is always a good thing.

Really I thought Top Gear with them in it was built on three mates, who bicker at every turn, try stupid things and make a mess of it. Each has a specific personality trait they play up to. They are good presenters, but they are not actors and the overly scripted stuff they are knocking out now is content poor and delivered even worse. And that track is rubbish...!

It leads on the Prime website (well it does on the UK version I log into) so its getting the coverage, but the content is so poor, I cannot even see how Americans would like it?

I think I would do it once, as you say on a dream car, but not time and again car after car, especially when you have just lost a shed load on the car that came before it.

I cannot imagine you are going to lose much in depreciation on the 6er given what you paid. But I couldn't imagine buying a new car and watching 20%+ disappear off the value the second I drive it off the forecourt. Let alone compound that when people use loans to buy new cars so paying more than the car is worth once you factor in interest payments. I guess for others its all part of the experience, not for me though.

So they have spent $4m a show to produce a show for Americans that no American is watching. Just seems a complete mess to me, if Amazon wanted something to float in the US they should just hire loud US presenters, put American built cars on it, minimum 5 V8s per show and do mad stuff.

I have a few friends who are born and bred Americans living in America, I will ask their opinion..!

Would be interesting to see if they do, the last episode was in Germany, it was all very much Clarkson going on about how the Germans make the best cars etc.

A kind of pointless comparison really. You may as well be saying 'ha your Cannondale peddle bike costs the same as my Zed but gets no where near in performance terms'. They are completely different machines, just because a bike has an engine some wheels and goes on the road, thats about the only things in common they have with cars. Might as well just weigh in to say my F16 jet plane goes 0-60 in under a second and could go round the ring in about 15 seconds beat that the lot of ya

Interestingly with Top Gear they seemed to respond to the public view mid series and wound down certain elements and improved others. Nothing the like happening here...
