  1. As Dan said ring them up - some specialists though wont be able to insure under 25, but worth trying anyway. Have a go on the price comparison sites to give yourself some benchmarks and make sure to put all your mods in (anything not standard is mod, even if it is wing mirror covers or the like you have to declare this) Prices of insurance are going up anyway https://www.confused.com/on-the-road/cost-of-motoring/what-the-price-index-means-for-you so it likely that you might be caught up in that.
  2. Insurance job could possibly make the car Cat D by the sounds of it?
  3. Black looks like its on the outside, but surely would have thought if it was you could feel it. As above, try hot water to see if it shifts and move up from that i.e. Tar remover, clay etc. Cannot see how that could have happened inside the plastic?
  4. Quite a few insurers will not be on the price comparison sites as they insure on a case by case basis and not apply generic prices based on online form submissions. So them not appearing does not mean they wont insure you...you need to call them direct.
  5. As above, unless someone does the same job as you and lives next door its unlikely you can find something to benchmark against. Some people will have cheaper quotes some more expensive as Dan said but it doesn't really help. If its unmodified put it through one of the comparison sites and ring a few of the insurance traders on here in the sub-forum of Insurance and see what they offer you.
  6. "Functionality" doesn't have that many Fs and Cs in?
  7. Jeez, dun it go on! Not used the Imgur app but have all my photos stored on Imgur on my macbook so all fine. Mobiles will always have reduced capability, maybe send Imgur some well scripted feedback Dan...!
  8. Fav Sigma at the moment is Find Me, I have a fairly loud sound system in the Celica, it sounds fantastic with the bass going!
  9. And the point being that awards and the like are rather falsified, it doesn't mean that person is supremely talented, it means they are the person generally selling the most music at that time. Sales nowadays dont seem to be driven by talent in my view but by marketing teams, social media managers, video producers, the song writers for the singers, industry trends towards certain music genres or even if that singers music is used in a film that does well. I don't think listing out awards really denotes talent, it denotes popularity for sure though, but being popular does not mean talent. Interestingly enough, the entertainment industry is awash with awards, there are more film awards ceremonies in the US than there are days in the year for instance. And we all know you cannot win an Oscar if you are not white as well Back up to your other post, Sigma are fantastic, being an 80s kid who loved dance music great seeing all this coming back in. I have about 20 Sigma tracks that I play on rotation at the moment in the car.
  10. Funny how 'talented' American singers that make it also happen to be good looking, perfect body sized people as well Don't get me wrong they have sold tonnes of records, but there are much more talented singers, performers and songwriters out there they just aren't American and moulded from the perceived 'attractiveness' tree.
  11. Drop some of the traders on here a PM and they will sort out options for you, Tarmc Sportz, Zmanalex, Cougar Store to name a few. Your options in general are likely to be replace like for like with OEM (dual mass) or get a lightened flywheel - lightened will rev more freely, but do rattle.
  12. Am I the only one who keeps reading this as Bees Wax Remover in the thread list...
  13. Another one to go...grew up watching Allo Allo on sunday afternoon TV.
  14. It does depend if you took an accurate reading yesterday, so when you put the litre in, you have ended up high as you under-read it yesterday? As Dan said, when it is drained get a reading. Check daily and if necessary throw a load of cardboard under the car over night to check to see if anything is leaking out whilst stationary.
  15. You need direct links to the images, you then grab the URL and insert it into the body of the post using the inset image icon (little green coloured square). I would advise uploading images to something like Imgur or Photobucket

Cheers, went easy on the oil, a nominal layer on turbo side and normal amount other side. Allowed it to wick through. For some reason these are £60 a go for Celicas so well worth recharging them rather than tossing them away.
  17. I remember watching a programme 'insert' of a guy talking about how you can buy a lump of gold, £10k for a bit about the size of an iPhone. Reckoned you would make about £10 a year though!

Just sorting out this week some work to change the front bumper...in the meantime decided as the car is stationary today a good time to clean the K&N filter. Got it out and looked a bit grim... Bought the recharge kit, has a cleaner fluid and oil. First up cleaner fluid, leave on for ten mins then rinse through, halfway through rinsing you could see the difference already the rinsed side compared to non rinsed... Then nicely re-oiled ready to go back in the car A simple job done, sure thats good for +10bhp
  19. Have a good google of the products, many 'scratch removers' are just full of fillers which fall out a few days later. Meguiars is a brand that often has fillers in.
  20. Thread on this just a week ago, search is your friend... http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/113731-waterless-wash-any-good/page__hl__waterless
  21. What did you make of the Menzerna polishes? I got those with my DA and thought they were pretty good!
  22. Tom Hardy lives part time in Richmond, couple of streets from me. Year or so ago I was helping a mate move house we were lugging sofas etc and were struggling with one which got stuck half out the back of the zip van, swearing ensued, then some big guy pops up says here lads let me help you out...yep Mr Hardy himself helping us lug furniture out the van. Class.
