  1. Just look around, so over the tops of roof lines of houses, you might see a big wing going past the other side, that will be Dan in his discreet BMW.
  2. It works fine if you know the secret
  3. Does the OEM strut brace clear the Kinetix plenum? It certainly doesn't look like it would clear the piping on the right hand side?
  4. Surely that particular scenario was considered in the location of said cup holder by Nissan engineers...?!
  5. Approved, but as its collection can you add a location.
  6. Traders on here can sort out what you need, for Oil there are Opie Oils and and I believe Zmanalex who I have bought Nissan oil from before. If you are doing the gearbox oil always worth adding a bit of molyslip as well, Zed gearboxes are notoriously clunky and molyslip will help alleviate some of the clunkyness.
  7. Paypal does not offer buyer protection for the purchase of cars.
  8. They finally came back, took over two weeks to get a quote and even then it was a case of ballpark but could cost lots more. Decided on another route. I have used TGM before so aware of what they can do, just a bit slow on this occasion, would rather go with someone who shows a bit more interest.
  9. Yes the airbag should be off in the Zed if baby is in the front, danger to life if it goes off. Subaru or Focus ST would suit you - easily done to get them over 300bhp so you can still have fun without child on board, then become practical cars with child around...
  10. Evo's need servicing quite regularly - if you are planning mileage in it with the baby expect to be in and out the garage frequently enough.
  11. Try owning one of these when your little 'un comes along The wife had a Ford Focus, more than capable for a newborn and carrying all the gear you need - unless you or your wife have physical limitations, you do not need an SUV/4x4 to get one small child and their stuff around. I ended up selling the VX220 and getting an R33 Skyline, as above where you mention its two doors but as long as you are in reasonable condition its pretty easy to get the kids in and out the back, especially when they are little, you just squat in the footwell at the back with the seat forwards to put in and remove said child, it's actually quite comfortable Sensible money would be on a four door, maybe go for a Focus ST four door? We found the hatch back much more practical for putting stuff in than the saloon style boot as you can remove the parcel shelf to get larger items in (kids furniture, plastic baths, huge boxes with toys in which you will get for christmas and the like).
  12. I can tell you which one is the aerial cable Aside from that, why on earth would someone do this? Maybe time to get a new head unit too whilst you are at it?
  13. Good luck with getting all that sorted Adrian, bad luck in that it happened, good luck that stock seems to be intact. But still not a nice thing to have to deal with.

  16. He did the roof on my Celica, great job too.
  17. Tar remover or clay bar should aid the process worth investing in anyway if you don't have any as it helps clear front bumper of bits of crap it picks up.
  18. Funny enough my insurer wouldn't reduce the premium for the dash cam, just that it would play a role in determining blame if it captured an accident.
  19. Its not the value of the mod, its the likelihood that doing this will incur a theft or the like. But clearly you need to call the companies concerned to ensure what their web form has captured is what you intended to communicate to them about your car. When I put a gloss black wrap on the roof of my Celica first discussion with insurance companies was to take my insurance up £100 which was a 25% increase for example which I managed to negotiate down. I know its a pain and takes time, but phone calls will in general get you a lot further than entering stuff into web forms for a good price on modified cars.
  20. Pretty sure there was a 'Cat D' registered car a 300zx for sale last year I saw where the seller had pics of what his ex did to it!
