  1. Most insurance companies only hike it up if you get something like 25bhp+ or something, well thats what I found in my experience.
  2. You might get to 350bhp once you have spent more than you would on a supercharger conversion which gives you a whole lot more. You may as well go for an engine swap than spend another 15k getting an extra 25bhp. Probably the reason why there is only one or two ever done this way because quite frankly, it is a waste of money when you can drop an NA V8 in it.
  3. Yes, I know what the uprev does, but Paycos car does not have 350bhp and will never get near that with whats on it. If you go away and spend £15k on a new ECU/Stroker Kit/Bore increase/fueling changed/injectors/etc its a complete waste of money when you can go up and beyond 350bhp with a supercharger kit.
  4. We all know he doesn't have 350hp, just saying that there's multiple people out there with 300rwhp NA, which equates to over 350hp at the crank. I've not seen the wheel bhp over 300 - it would mean making more than 50bhp on the uprev with mods, mine had HFCs, exhaust, stillen intake, spacer etc and gained 21bhp. I guess if you make some huge changes costing thousands you might get to 350, but not whats on Payco's car at the moment?
  5. I did try a can in Scotland along with some fried food, so took in the whole Scottish experience, I couldn't buy into it sorry - although haggis and tatties...
  6. Parliament of Ekona where one voice rules all?
  7. Sturgeon wants it now because it increases her chances of winning i.e. capability to roll out the PR campaign vs the government embroiled in trying to work through brexit It seems hit and miss if the Scottish people want it now - clearly those that would vote leave will want it now, those who don't, won't If the UK negotiates a great deal, then the likelihood is that voting leave UK because of the main argument of leaving the EU lessens Sturgeons chances of winning considerably Sturgeon has a somewhat right wing tunnel vision view on what she wants for Scotland - this is an opportunity
  8. Its horrific stuff! Water is usually a good substitute for thirst quenching?
  9. Are you planning on trading in Irn Bru?
  10. I have in the past, have evidence of that in that they both changed their vote. If you sit in silence you cannot blame any outcome of something that you had an opinion on but chose not to voice.
  11. There is a guy on FB under the name forflockssake I think that does a load of work for the Celica community - really high quality output and has loads of examples on his page. Worth having a look - actually a quick google turned this up https://www.facebook.com/forflockssake/
  12. Just because you cannot vote, doesn't mean you cannot influence those that can with your opinion.
  13. These are not your everyday Astra car being knocked out for a couple of grand which suits a huge population of families - it will take some time for the right buyer, to come along, be local, like the colour, the version etc and come look. I have seen pristine cars sit on here for months without selling (could be time of year also having an effect). ebay has always been my place of choice to sell a car - biggest audience, best flexibility for writing an ad, including videos etc. Autotrader I find doesn't attract the right buyer group.
  14. I think they mentioned something about Harris and Sabine racing in the next episode?
  15. Agreed it was excellent and the presenters seemed to be enjoying themselves, even at the end with the beer joke it didn't feel as staged as it might have done last series. Chiron parts were amazing, what a machine, and the noise! Seems they are also drilling out a role for Rory to be in the slower cars...without calling him captain slow.
  16. Theresa Maybe will most likely refuse because they are asking for it to run during the closing stages of the 2 year window for brexit, the government is barely equipped to negotiate the EU exit let alone fight to keep the union together (hence the reason for Sturgeons request for it then) - if she does refuse, they can still have one at significant cost to the country, but it's not legally binding. As far as I know.

Aye plenty of small changes out of sight which help, just working on getting the interior as comfortable as possible now with a few mod cons don't think I will be doing any big changes for a while. I have been toying with the idea of an EBC which apparently you can wind safely up to around 1.1bar which gives about 310-320bhp but wondering if I actually need to take that risk or not, its a 22 year old engine after all. Oh and it passed its MoT last weekend

Just put in titanium bolts all around the edges of the engine bay too - plain but nice
  19. Not sure I would pay £5k for a cat D which had suspension damage, there is an 07 roadster HR on here for £5.5k

Engine bay bits and bobs polished, now onto leather care routine for the seats
  21. Been quite a few debates on the forum on this lately, general consensus is to use Imgur although apparently the app is not all that great.
  22. I've gone over a clay bar with a clay bar and still pulled stuff out you wont get everything, spending more time with a bar will pick up more, but in the interests of time the mitt gets 80% of what the bar would get in 20% of the time.
  23. Try the clay mitts, I used bars for a few years, was skeptical about the mitts but they are very good - knocks 80% off the time needed.
  24. Very nice, I would certainly look to include claying/iron sessions in there as well if you are going to go the full hog. Oh and Bilt Hamber Auto Wheel is awesome for getting the wheels in great condition.
