I did wonder what width it would need to be to cover this gap, currently the one on the rear only just covers the gap but it still has the bracket on it.

so 7" is 178mm then, i will wait and see if the consensus is the same with others When its not the middle of the night i.e. tomorrow i will go and measure the one currently on there haha

I have an import Z, and it came with a jap size rear and a UK size front (mounted wonky) They have some horrible fake carbon fibre lettering which bugs me and I want to replace them with shiny new normal looking ones. Does anyone have the definitive answer for jdm import plate sizes? Looks like all the plates are meant to be 330mm wide which is fine, but its the height that you are able to select. The options are; 152mm, 165mm, 178mm and 203mm. Does anyone know which will fit in the bumper at the rear correctly? Also should I go for two square plates or a UK front and a JDM size rear? Cheers

Well i have come from a VX220, which have got AP racing 4 pots as standard and I had mintex 1144's fitted with std disks as my last setup, but previously had pagid disks and RS14 pads. So im used to fairly "good" performance under more spirited conditions lol. I can make the pad choice later on, and i did think braided lines might be a good idea. Have not got a clue what the pads currently are on the car. Brembos was something i originally wanted when i was looking for a zed, the one i ended up with came up at the right time and price and had other bits i wanted (nismo bumper and spoiler). I imagine people dont often sell brembos...lol Perhaps Alex has them in stock, like most things End of the day sounds like i missed out on a cheap set of brembos

I have read that its a fairly straight forward conversion to retrofit the Brembo's to a JDM, I was just wondering what the comprehensive list of parts needed is and an approximate cost for it all. I not only dislike the look of the std jdm brakes i also feel they are lacking in performance. Its something i would love to do, depending on cost, i noticed a full set of the brakes on ebay go yesterday for just over £300 I was unable to bid so missed them was this a good price? Are any of the traders on here able to spec me a full price for the whole lot? anyway cheers guys

I will have to have a look in the freezer see what we have in the way of pre preg CF at the moment, as i have access to a composites workshop along with autoclave and wouldnt mind producing some parts. I will watch this thread with interest.

Get a silver one and you wont even notice the stone chips I had a silver VX220 and now i have a silver 350, i dont actually like silver cars. But it must be said it does cover up a lot lol

nice to read a decent review I myself have come from a car that handled like a go kart on rails and do like the comfort of the ride in the zed but feel myself wanting more performance in the corners. I assume that standard suspension and this ARB kit would get the kind of effect im after? I feel this could be an expensive year for me modification wise haha

bought my VX220 with 12k cash, brown bag and everything. Needless to say the guy i bought it off was a tad surprised i took that much cash with me, but it all went well. Had a mate with me to drive the car back and i took the one we drove up in, pre arranged a price for the car without even seeing it haha. It was on a if its as is in the advert were all good. The zed i just gave the stealer two cars and £200 lmfao that was the easiest transaction ever
