  1. Id try and get a 2nd opinion. If its running low compression on some cylinders, then it could be a number of things. Valve seats, head gasket, all sorts. If its a head related thing then it will be a lot cheaper than a whole engine.
  2. apart from clearance issues with the brakes Not if you use 12inch spacers....
  3. Thats where your wrong. Ive discovered 3 scarfs, 2 coats, a hat, a bag of sweets and a pair of shoes in my zed this week. They are all my missus`s stuff and she hasnt been in the zed in about 2 months. Its amazing how she hides stuff. In glove box, in boot, behind the seats... everywhere!
  4. 1am id be tucked up in bed fast asleep. Cool picture though!!! Ive seen some cracking sunsets this last week on the way home from work, so may have to pull over and get some shots. Only problem I have is trying to keep my car clean enough to take pix of it.
  5. What sort of price do the 17" jdm`s fetch?
  6. Ive never taken night photos before. Might have to give it a go now the evening are getting dark earlier.
  7. Ive been there. Drove from Nice to Cannes. Some err... "interesting" mountain roads around there if you venture up them. We ended up eating in Cannes so unfortunately cant recommend anywhere in Nice. Lovely place tho.
  8. We've had a lot of fun with them at the accident repair centre I worked at! They're very handy! Only problem I can see is that the floor in my garage appears to be slightly sloped, so the car could potentially end up skating down the road on its own accord.....
  9. Damn... that explains why my old Golf Diesel was more economical than my zed. I feel such an idiot now.
  10. My ex was brilliant with cars. Knew loads about them and I even taught her how to service her own car and change the brake pads etc... although she hated getting oil behind her french polished nails! My current missus doesnt have a clue about cars and even refuses to test drive them when we buy them. I have to test drive them and she bases her decision on whether to buy purely on the cars colour. So, the first time she ever drives a new car is after we have already bought it. Madness really.
  11. Very nice! You should get into doing wedding videography!!!
  12. 311bhp is an excellent result! Well done!!!!!!!
  13. Some very dubious feedback people have left the guy about dodgy mileage etc.... Im not sure about the red interior... not my cup of tea, but nice how they have painted the calipers to match.
  14. ...with his headless and legless rear passengers...
  15. I need to get some of those roller skate things. Would be handy for shifting the cars around in the garage!
  16. Thats exactly what I was just thinking. Id be lucky to get 340 miles out of a tank at mine, driving at 70mph. If this guy can do 120mph and get 480 he must have filled the rest of the boot with a huge tank.
  17. Nice!!! The yellow GT4`s look cracking! Well done!
  18. Bigger fool you for buying it then Not really, it was 2 grand less than it should have been as a result! In fact I could have sold it 2 years later for the same price id paid for it! If I had a quid for every time a trader reckoned it was his wifes car, or his mothers car, or his daughters car, or his 90 year old grandmothers car then id be a rich man. I dont understand why they even bother saying that. Do they really think that would help sell a car? I guess its better than saying it was his 17 year old sons car.... And hand bag marks on the roof above the drivers door....
  19. Woah...... they are NOT ginger, they are Alezan Orange.
  20. I think the fact the guy says its his wife`s car would put me off more than the mileage.... the last car i bought which was a "wifes car" was covered in scuffs and dents..

What I tend to do is to try any old nuts or bolts I have in my shed until I find one which fits. Then I can nip down my local hardware store and buy the size I want. Can Nissan themselves help if its a Nismo spoiler? I expect their prices for the bolts or nuts will be well over the odds, but at least they might be able to shed some light on the correct sizes.?
  22. Remind me never to have a ride out with you, sounds the rain just follows you about!
