With pills, if you gently squeeze each side of its jaw it will open its mouth. Pop pill in, hold his mouth closed, then gently rub his throat. Cat will swallow. Trick my vet taught me! Also cats love peanut butter apparently, so some people recommend coating the pill with that and the cat will just gulp it down - havent tried that one myself though.

Looks like it needs a good polish!

In all fairness when I first got my zed I was like WTF!!!! and thought not being able to enter postcodes was a nightmare. But, once I used the system a few times it no longer is an issue. In fact I have found every single place ive keyed in straight away, whereas sometimes on my tomtom it has no idea where I want to go - even with the latest maps. Also, the business estate where I work doesnt show on tomtom, but does on the nissan sat nav.

Yeah ive got the same dilema here. Last year the alloys on my golf got totally ruined with all the salt and stuff. The problem I have is I just dont have the time to clean and wax the wheels every other day to keep them protected. So, sensible thing says to get a cheapie set of winter wheels and use them... but then I dont really fancy using my car over winter at all to be honest, so a 2nd car would be the way forward... only problem is insurance puts that out of the question. Argh!!!! Back to ebay I think and will keep an eye on some of these cheap stock rims.

Just looking at the original photos and my god the snow was so deep it looked like the car side skirts were sitting on the snow and the car still drove through it in those tyres?! Mad!

You can find places to d/l the maps if you spend a bit of time on google. But, even the newer maps for the 350 wont change how the software works - you still cant key postcodes in.

Show mine a packet of whiskas and his mouth is open like a flash!

Its going to be a hard one to price I think. Its a really good colour which adds to its value, but non-gt pack which takes a bit off. Also its a 58 plate, so in theory will command more money, but then a lot of people tend to opt for the cheaper pre-facelift cars. How I always price up my cars is looking at prices on ebay, autotrader, piston heads etc... It is hard though as you seldom actually see sold prices, and you also have to factor in difference between dealer prices and private prices etc. Good luck with the sale!

I feel your pain, got a nice claw mark across my hand this morning!! Bull dog clip and a set of welding gaultlets should do the trick!! Welding gauntlets are definately the way forward. I had to give my cat some eye drops 3 times a day for 2 weeks. Can you imagine how much "fun" that was? Im still recovering now from it and the cat still runs a mile whenever he sees my welding gloves!!!

I had some woman in a CLK pull straight out in front of me on my motorbike once. I had a very close look at the driver side rear of her car as I flew over the top of it superman style. My bike was virtually written off, but the only damage to her CLK was a small pencil line scratch about 4 inches long above the rear wheel!

Car Sellers - What goes on in their heads?

I hope you're not one of them that keeps phoning me, its fooking annoying TBH, thats the problem with most recruiters, they just dont accept "no" as an answer. Rather like the other two Ive mentioned actually Unless you are an aircraft technician, a pilot or a composite production guy then its not going to be my lot hassling you .......... that said, if anyone needs any of the aforementioned, drop me a PM At my old company they used to tell the telesales staff that 'No' didn't mean 'No' it just mean't 'Not now', therefore if they said 'No' last month, they may say 'Yes' today That explains why I still keep getting the same firm of recruitment consulants phoning and emailing me week in / week out even though ive told them many times "NO WE ARE NOT INTERESTED". Argh! -
Thats really clever! Its a cats natural reaction, it thinks its mummy is picking it up by the scruff of its neck! My cat wont let me get anywhere near his neck mind you. Im sure the guys at work think im into self harm with some of the scratches and scars all over my hands / arms from playing with the cat.

Looks like you`ll have a nice sized garage there by the time you finish!

When I used to drive around in old Mini`s I used to carry around a roll of insulation tape. Then as id be driving around it used to be a mission to try and identify which panels were causing the squeeks by a process of pushing hard on various panels - then id use the insulation tape to tape them up!

I actually had 2 tax refunds come through last month for years 2008-2009 and 2009-2010, not huge amounts but better than nothing and the first time ive ever had any cash back from the taxman! Knowing my luck they will now tell me that I actually owe them cash for 2010->2011!!!! -
Yep, make sure you get the right ones! I replaced mine the other week and didnt take the bumper off although it was very fiddly so might be easier to do it with the bumper off. I just undid the undertray at the front and reached up behind the reflectors with a small philips screwdriver. Passenger side one is the hardest as theres loads of pipes and a water tank there.

Those wheels are mad! -
The prices seem to be depending on what you are looking for. Ive been keeping a close eye on the roadster prices and they seem to have remained pretty stable since June. My spec car actually increased in value by about £2k based upon "asking" prices from March to May time, then seems to have kept the same since then. I expect it will drop now we are getting closer to winter however - which is prob why Nissan are trying to off-load those 370z roadsters cheap!

I also hYeah I have labeled most things up and taken pics, ave the service manual which has exploded diagrams of how everything goes together. I have just removed the carbs in situ and left them alone so HOPEFULLY I wont have to balance them as apparently its a sh*t of a job on the SV. R I think you have to re-balance them everytime you take them off / on. On the R1 it was pretty fiddly - I had to screw in a valve into the head under each of the carbs which was a serious mission - knowing if you dropped the valve you`d probably never see it again. But, the difference to throttle response balancing the carbs out made was incredible. I remember when I rejetted the bike myself, it was a case of removing the carbs, trying a different needle or jet, refitting, rebalancing, then replacing the tank, airbox and all the bits - then road testing... no good... okay, strip it down again, try another needle or needle setting, refit, rebalance, reassemble...... jesus... it took me a nearly all of a Saturday to get it setup right. I had those carbs off / on that bike more times than ive had hot dinners. By the end of it I had it down to a fine art. The reward was after getting it all setup how I felt was perfect, taking it to the rolling road and having the operator telling me the power curve was one of the best he`d seen on an R1 and id set the carbs up perfectly.

Well just watched the dvd version of Senna. Awesome. Some of the onboard footage from his early races was just incredible. So exciting and so fast. Totally amazing. The later on board footage just looked so much slower for some reason. Want to see the blu ray version now for the extras. :EDIT: The bluray extended version with all the extra interviews and stuff (2hr 40mins) is much better.

That was lucky, last time I went over the Atlantic they put 27 Dresses on, I nearly cried in frustration. lol... when I went once i remember they put lord of rings on repeat... it must have been on some betamax tape as you could see all the tracking lines. United Airlines if i remember rightly. lol Definately want to see the Senna movie. I remember watching Senna, Mansell and the rest racing all the time on the telly - those were the days when I loved F1. Havent been into it now for a very long time as it just doesnt seem as raw or exciting as back in the days. Like others, dont think the missus will like it.. so may watch it today - as im off work with the death man flu plague virus.
