  1. All depends on driving experience, area, profession etc etc... I have only been driving for 4 years[/ l would like to think that the folk on this Forum could work that one out themselves lol
  2. AXA and Swift are about the same as that. Before l had the mods I was with AXA paying Monthly £345 total and that was with one claim from a hit and run. Thenoname
  3. Interestingly enough. BBC Watch Dog is covering the whole subject of Insurance Quotes in its TV debate this evening. Hit the record all you Valley Park Freaks!
  4. I will 2nd this. Seeing as you have insured my car for me:)
  5. I see that no one has used AXA via the co compare site for an OEM zed. You might be pleasantly surprised. For modified tri the 2 Insurers who advertise on the Forum. Sky and Christ Knott. They seem to match each others quotes. Thenoname
  6. It might help if you give us the overal figure?
  7. This must be classed as "Hidden Compartments"!
  8. Sorry I missed this. I bought them without reading the instructions. They are for a pre-face-lift car so should fit a 2004. You need to take a look as I cannot confirm anything as I don't have a 2004 car. I will take them to the car meets as they are cash only no postage due the the aggravation. Thenoname
  9. They are black. Ideal for my car. I still want a set of black for mine please!
  10. Bloody hell, that will teach me not to check the forum every day!! I NEED one of those carbon gear levers! grumble/mumble You may not have seen it. I did not upload the pictures until late at night!
  11. to be honest on this forum we get alot of BS positive reviews on here and a lot of people dont write anything negative about some traders even when the service has been bad as they are worried about slating a big forum trader. i know of lots of issues with some other traders that aren't mentioned on here. In the heat of the moment we can all be negative and write poor reviews. But are we to quick to pass judgement? I am one of the worst offenders and on several occasions when giving a poor review failed to voice my concerns at the time. If you are not happy then try not to be on the back foot. Most dealers will rectify and problems as they do not want bad publicity. But if you don't tell them, how will they be able to put it right. In 38 years of car ownership I have to say that Abbey are up there with the best. Followed by Mehmet the service manager of WLMG at Hanwell. RS Tyres at Coulsdon are right up there as well. Thenoname
  12. Just to spare a thought for the other guys who were on the drag and had their dreams dashed by the weather. Most of the bikes slipped and skidded and lost a lot of time. This one didn't and although he does not look fast did the quarter in I believe 163mph. The average seemed to be around 147mph whilst I was watching. In the drizzle as well. Its not very good and some guy got in the way at the end but well done.
  13. Sounds interesting! Any more info? I want a launch control lol. umm and a skid control:)
  14. Ok guys the 1st message in my in box was from Lionel you has bagged the Nismo gear knob. And yes Steve it is a bargan price for a still in the box Nismo carbon gear lever lol Now come on and buy the bling guys! Peter
  15. It appears Abbey now have a Face Book page so the quality of the shots and tecno stuff will all be on there:) The only regret I have was that I did not book into a B&B for the weekend. It is certainly an adrenalin ride at Santapod but please drive home carefully:scare:
  16. Toast and marmalade if you drag ya sorry butt from the station on foot like l did lol!
  17. I can't remember but l think Mark shoved 750's in mine. Does the size make much difference?
  18. What size injectors have you put in?
  19. Hi The following items I carry about in my car to meets with the hope of selling. They are for the non HR engine and I bought them without checking. In addition and not in the photo but well documented in my GTM build pictures is the Number plate GT58ZGT on a years retention. I shall be taking them all to the Ace Cafe meet next Saturday and if not sold the Solent one. However l did sell some bits at the Valley Park and shall take them along this Thursday. All the items are brand new. The Nismo gear lever I put on the car and drove for 5 miles and took it off. I paid £90 for it and will accept half price. £45. The polished tanks came from the states and by the time I had paid postage and customs they were $320. I will accept £80 each or £150 the pair. The bumper reflectors were £40 which I got last week, and only came out of packet to photograph. They will not fit my car so £30 for those. The number plates which I have in the car on retention is worth what I paid for it. which was what ever DVLA charge plus the years retention that cost me £105. I am sure I am doing myself with the plates but will take £300. I will hold these items on trust for those that want me to hold them for you. Peter
  20. They are indeed carbon stick on and look very good. In front of the manifold is a water tank and they were pumping warm water through it to keep the engine warm. I am pretty sure when Mark gets back he will answer your questions.
  21. I trust I am posting in the right place. Just found these little additions in my email:) Press on the pictures and pump up the volume. Enjoy! The yellow Skyline. The 350 Burn out. And the run itself. I think she coughed and lost half a second! I put these in the Modified Cars section so I am to blame if its wrong:) The main thing is everybody enjoyed themselves and that's all that counts. Thenoname
