  1. Just based on this theory then, Could a over zealous MOT tester bust it ! Like Halfords Test stations?
  2. Abbey don't have a rolling road. They have a system that spins the hubs. If you go onto there Facebook page you will see that Mark uploaded a full demonstration in video format a few days ago. You will be safe there and no doubt answer you question in due course. Fear not young Arran your diff is in safe hands.
  3. I just did a long answer to your second but last post Wasso and it's disappeared. Wonder if I accidentally put it elsewhere as these IPads open new windows at every chance. Jailbrake expected sooner rather than later. And if I get it b4 anyone I will post the software link. I used ICloud to migrate but it does not like 3G to do it. Although it has now transferred the iTunes apps it is trying also to migrate the Jailbroken ones. Bit worried as I am expecting my 1st crash when I do get wifi speed.
  4. Unfortunately not as that was my thoughts as there is a cleaner especially for it. Faux is on the European list of failing current fire regs which beggars the question of insurance payouts if you have after market seats made of this material. Found it "ALICANTE" as used in the Audi R8
  5. The vodafone and T-mobile are identical except for £1 lower for the T-mobile I have the Full Monty which is £41 a month. unlimited texts calls and data 2 year contract. As I have the 64 gig memory the phone is £220 Apple do not want to give any price cuts to phone companies if they can help it so they are all competing with each other with really marginal attractions. However T-Mobile have been offering the unlimited data for 2years now and it really is unlimited. Unlike the stupid sim I got for the iPad. I run a hot spot from the phone to the pad to get round this. It appears that the 16 Gig is running out already as being the cheapest one of the 3 is by far the most popular.
  6. Just read this post. PMSL. Takes the spotlight off me and certainly brightened the forum up
  7. Didn't mean I won't do your seats as in this case as we have already agreed terms:) I just can't get the info I need. I refer to the earlier post of the material used. As your car is quite new and in keeping with fire regulations the use of Suede in car interiors is restricted in certain countries as it is very flammable. Mitsubishi wanted to keep there Suede look and on the Evo used a fire retardant man made weave to get round these problems. Just can't think of the name they call it but it's " Something Leather" just not suede. The lose term leather suggests to those not in the know that they are getting something special. I have no doubt in my mind that an artificial weave dyed with a water based product would not survive the errasor rub that you would use on real suede. I am guessing that someone who ownes a 370 and is a petrol head might have got a speck sheet on the ingredients used in the build. This will tell you exactly what is used in the construction of the seat. Being Red you really do not want to raise the dye to the surface as this will leave a forn colour as it eventually comes out into your clothing. Hope this helps.
  8. You popping round for the carbon Nissmo spoiler Arran?
  9. This ain't happening Sparky as I am pulling the plug with trading on here WIE. and moving on. Politics and the like.
  10. Ha ha I was under advisement from a forum boffin lol. At least we can agree I am mad. I let the air out to soften the ride on my spine but not much luck.
  11. That's cool. ICloud back up it is then. I shall have to say Goodbuy to all my Jailbrake apps for now but hey ho as they say:)
  12. I have no option as I only have an iPad on this trip. Like you I would rather do it in my own time but unless I am missing something obvious like no need to plug it into a puter I could be stuffed. I just assumed iTunes may be slow as they reckon 8 million will be picking up there toys today. That's one heck of a lot of traffic. Mixture of luck and the fastest trigger finger!
  13. I do love a good Facebook rant on there page. That's if you can get on it at all. Looks like the delivery guy has taken it to the T-mobile shop instead of bringing it here. So Mine won't be up and running until the pm now
  14. Did you mug the truck driver as that is early. Have you had a chance to migrate your address book yet and any registration problems Like iTunes server overload lol. Obviously that's a lot of questions to answer so no rush. Hope you like it
  15. If they had all the problems sorted before the launch then they would not be able to bring out the must have updates incorporated into the suspected iphone 5S. Well come on, do you really think they didn't plan this!
  16. I do love my daily early morning, nitro filled, adrenalin pumping read that you furnish us with every morning Adrian. I try to make my bowl of cornflakes last the duration, but alas they always go soggy. So the iPhone delivery truck arrives about 11am at sunny Bath. Is there a prize for the 1st one to get up and running like that wine run that they have every year that I can't pronounce?
  17. Are these ARBS Zedman is selling as good as you say they are Ian? I was getting concerned that I messed all mine up by widening the car in the manor that I have. 18"rays 20mm spacers all round Bridgestone 050a 18/35/245 on the front ". ". ". " 18/35/275 on the rear. I really need to make a decision fast and is the Arb fitment something I could do myself? Thanks Peter You can do it your self, but a much better option is to Buy some Donuts and go visit the Zed Shed The reason I asked is I want to start doing a few jobs myself before my health prevents the simplistic of tasks. Obviously not a good choice of car for someone with Skeletol problems but I refuse to give her up after all the time I put in. Surely it would end up green if I drove to Bournemouth

  19. I let this run a bit to see how it turned out and interesting stuff. I of course am aware that not even God almighty could set a car up to avoid spinning in Phoo weather. And I was stating how the situation was left where my own car is concerned after Keyser Darren and co had a jolly in it. And I did tend to agree with them on there comments which are documented in the parrot run. Abbey at my request commented on the post in a constructive way and having spent quite a bit of time down there on other projects of late it was obviously going to come up in conversation. What, how,why and when. And how to proceed if at all? From what the guys were saying from our Devils Dyke and Bognor run out 2weeks ago. When they accelerate in there Zeds the back sits down. The bonnet comes up and away you go. With mine it doesn't if that makes sense it seems to have no give in the back. Some good advice from Ebized as I had deflated the tyres to 35 all round due to health reasons. was to pump the rears up to 40 and it does handle better. To my mind it's all about seeing if there is a problem that needs to be rectified as we now know its not my crap driving. There does seem to be a sliding issue of that we agree. To be honest I can't remember if it was there before or after The uprev and 050As plus wider tyres and spacers were put on. If it was after then maybe I have caused this problem. On a personal level I was a bit peeved that I may have turned my car into a summer car only when I know that there are guys out there with more power running the cars all year long and have openly said on here they drive in the Snow. I myself would not entertain it. So many people running different setups make it hard to get a definitive answer and I never will. We will just have to take it one step at a time to see what happens. So ending with a twist and keeping with the original wheel tyre size post. If money were no object and you had only the Zed to drive, and had to drive all year round period. What size rim would you yourself buy. What size tyre would you put on it And what make would it be?
  20. Half the Zeds in town are at RT at the moment. Take a look at the posts. Taras did the exterior wrap on my car and it is faultless. And well within your budget
  21. 2 of Shell local to A3 have tank leakages I believe earlier in the year. Maybe they are changing them over!
  22. Send me the coordinates Mark. Getting hacked off driving to Burgh Heath all the time just so I can open the door wide enough to get out!
  23. I can see tomorrow will be good for a giggle lol. Who will be the 1st to get a fully working one photographed on here. So what contract deal did people get in the end?
