  1. I think your headphone socket needs replacing Will. Not expensive to buy but very fiddly.

Or the switch embedded in the socket that diverts sound from phone to ear piece may be jammed or dirty.

1st of all dip the jack plug of your earphones in some alcohol the same stuff you use for cleaning screens

    and components.

Then rapidly push in and out 8-10 times and try that.

If this does not cure it then a replacement socket is about £12 - £25 dependant on where you go.

The cheap £5 ones on fleabay do not last long.

    Hope this helps

  2. Right it's been a long day bit she's upreved!

First of all id like to thank Mark and team for making my friend and myself very welcome and giving us just a snipet into his vast knowledge on tuning and other related topics

She made a couple of hoses short of 300 at the hub

    I think 340 flywheel

The tourqe steped Up nicely also

She definitely picks her feet up now

And on the most aggressive map the car rockets out of bends and islands etc

400 isn't a big amount considering the change it makes to the car

    I'm happy with it anyway

You are a couple of hoses short and 400 lol :)

  3. Sunday 17/08/14

If any of you are bored and live in the Windsor area then why not pop over to Liquid leisure and see the start of the Cannon Ball GT Rally to Thruxton.

    http://www.windsorex...wn-04082014.htm

Jjoining us on the rally is Girl Racer Fiona James of Panic Racing . Fiona races Lamborghini's when she is not cruising around in her Ferrari .

It's a girl take over , watch out for TV Presenter, editor and Girl racer Porsche Racing Champion , Rebecca Jackson , joining us on the rally.

Storm Girl Fior is coming along and these girls can seriously drive a car.

And last but no least Elo from London Motor Museum , TV celebrity and custom car designer and collector is joining us in his Aero SSC.

The cars will start arriving at 07:30 and at 10am they are off all 50 of them.

So if you like your cars then come along and have a look!

Another car just joined is the only Audi R8 TT in UK.

I am never going to keep up with this lot (Joke)

  4. As the title says I am having real bad issues with my air filter all due to positioning.

I constantly clogs up and if I don't take it off and clean it out every few thousand miles I have real issues.

The engine management throws a 3010 code and if I don't catch it 1st turn of the key to start

    it floods and that's that.

The only way to get it restarted is to pull the blue 15 amp fuse by the battery box Number 81.

This cuts off the fuel pump.

Ideally have someone standing outside ready to stick it back in as soon as it fires up.

At present I have the use of a ramp, as getting the air filter out from its position hidden under the right side front inner wheel arch is no joke.

If you don't want to cut your hands to bits then I have to undo the intake pipe that the air filter is attached to and pull it out backwards.

Not the sort of job I would want to do laying under a car.

This has now been taken out at least a dozen times, and if its left to long it sucks in on itself.

They has to be a better and easier way as being right down low it picks up all the road crud and salt.

I was hoping my custom made under-tray may have helped but it just blows in from the front.

Once it has been cleaned up and placed back on you can feel the difference in power.

The code does not come back on and she starts up 1st time.

This is the only thing that lets the car down and with all the money I paid for this set up the air filter is its nemesis !

  5. What about National Car parks Ltd on a private road.

I challenged it as I reversed into the road and went to a Chemist opposite.

I got the same sort of @*!# but as I am skint I wrote to them saying I was disabled and dyslexic!

They wrote back saying that they sympathise but it stands.

If I pay it within 28 days I pay £50 or £90 with the usual debt collection threats.

    Thanks

  6. As far as I know there is no uprated one for the DE only the HR that runs a concentric type.

The kit we sell for the DE includes a new Nissan slave cylinder, Hosetechnik stainless clutch line and 500ml of Mogul RBF600 for £119.95

Is this because the HR one is a seperate unit and the DE is a fixed component or similar?
