So I've been having a problem with the hose coupler where the MAF housing is, coming off and loosing boost. It is most probably due to the engine rocking, hence I need an engine damper fitted.
Went and bought a bigger T bolt clamp today, after trying different setups here are the findings
with Vortech original clamp it comes off, the pulley cut into the hose and clamp, had to replace both:
with two Vortech original clamps, still comes off at high boost
with the bigger T bolt clamp seems to be fine at the moment, can't tighten too hard because I don't want to crack the plastic MAF housing.
The perfect solution will be mounting an engine damper and replacing the whole intake setup with the Strafe pipe whenever Wasso has it.
