  1. Beers on me! Nismo kit on 350z v1 and v2 rocks. On the 370z it's just ruins it. Looks like it's been designed by the drunk and terminally ill designers from Tata or Dacia You now sound like an Apple fanboy (I'm one, too ) Because you liked that kit on the 350z (I have a genuine kit as well on the 350z) you'd like to think it will have the same value on the 370z as well in time. Just look on US forums, they go for peanuts, many, many Nismo parts threads specially the body kits P.S. Enjoy the car! You're paying for it, not me, doesn't matter what I think at the end of the day P.S2 I love the wheels! I'm going to get a set as promised
  2. Leave the TC on until you get to know her properly!
  3. How often one may need just one Genuine Brembo caliper? 1 in 10.000? There is always ebay for breakers, I found some really good deals on there and you can also negotiate, make offers, etc. Very flexible sellers like: A1 JAP SPARES - http://stores.ebay.c.../A1JAPSPARESLTD EMPEROR TUNING - http://stores.ebay.c.../Emperor-Tuning SAS PARTS - http://stores.ebay.co.uk/sas-parts REDCARPARTS - http://stores.ebay.co.uk/REDCARPARTS HILLS MOTORS - http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Hills-Salvage-and-Recycling-Ltd/NISSAN-/_i.html and many many others
  4. Not really, I'm personally referring to at least 3  But your service was perfect, so not to worry!
  5. I do it all the time when looking for stuff in the loft...
  6. Congrats! Keyser @ ZedShed for servicing  Are you going to drive from Shell to Shell for the next two weeks?
  7. That's about 1 hour drive one way, hmm.... Are we going to ZedShed afterwards to console Uncle Keyser as Buster Bob is away??
  8. This is what I've got from ProBolt, maybe it helps:
  9. I'd guess as long as we can talk cars for Then off to Hindhead tunnel?
  10. Another thing that annoys me really bad is the hidden pricing, you need to PM to find out how much. Why? Do we have different ratings as members? Does it matter what's your username, religion, colour, sex, nickname, marital status, relation to the Queen, etc?
  11. When you say "pay them to do it for you" does it seem fair to pay over 100% more than the US retail price? However, the price they buying is even smaller, trade prices are like 30% less than retail, in some occasions even smaller. For instance I found out that a product I wanted was $350 from the manufacturer if you're buying 5 or more, while it was advertised for $470 on US websites. In UK they were advertised at £495 which is $723 I know you need to factor in the shipping costs, Customs, etc. but if you're not in a hurry it's well worth to do it yourself and save lots of cash, at least that's my experience, specially when you team up with other members or friends If you're desperate or lazy, that's another story, but if you're newbie and very enthusiastic about your new zed, calm down and think it through before you start wasting your money
  12. As a trader, (I run few business myself, so I'm the same boat) you HAVE to answer questions and be able to offer FAIR / ACCURATE advice about the products you are selling. If your service and price are reasonable, I can't see why the potential buyer who had all the questions and doubts answered will go somewhere else to make the purchase. Trouble is when you're coming as a new member here and everybody throws PM X, PM Y, PM Z messages at you like there is no tomorrow you take everything as a helping hand, only later to realise that you've been "raped". And if you dare to comment publicly about products or services, that is not POSITIVE, you're doomed! This is a very good point - folk are free to do their research before they commit to buying - most though are too lazy or naïve to do so and expect to be able to ask a trader countless questions/ advice on set up and products and then go elsewhere
  13. Just open your eyes people, there are lots of other ways to get the parts you need I've learned the hard away, spending thousands of pounds with some traders in here that are not even talking to me anymore since I've quit using their TRIPLE PRICE service and get stuff directly from US or Japan. Greedy bastards!
  14. Some of the descriptions need to be updated, eg: http://www.tarmacsportz.co.uk/GB/AAM_Competition_370Z_Fuel_Return_System_Basic/370z-AAM37FS-FRSB_.aspx vs http://aamcompetition.com/i-6339388-aam-competition-370z-fuel-return-system.html Yours says about the 350z HR version.
  15. One of the guys on the list please PM me your address, have one set ready to go, sorry for the delay, I completely forgot about it
  16. Well done, Chris, looks modern! Just need to amend the prices by -25% and we're good to go / ready to order! :p Ask your developer to use some CSS sprites / minify (combine all JS scripts, stylesheets, etc). Maybe use a CDN for images? Put the JS at the bottom, too, always helps. Also use gzip to compress, and add expires headers. E-Commerce websites in production need to be lightning fast
  17. WINDOWS NOT WORKING PROPERLY AFTER DOOR CARD FITED BACK? If the windows do not close automatically or the power window automatic function (closing only) does not operate properly, perform the following procedure to initialize the power window system: 1. Push the ignition switch to the ON position. 2. Close the door. 3. Open the window completely by operating the power window switch. 4. Pull the power window switch and hold it to close the window, and then hold the switch more than 3 seconds after the window is closed completely. 5. Release the power window switch. Operate the window by the automatic function to confirm the initialization is complete. 6. Perform steps 2 through 5 above for other windows.
  18. I can help shipping doughnuts to Bali! Have fun guys! I'm off to ASDA as well!
  19. The 370Z doesn't have any downsides but the Nismo version is not worth the price difference. That body kit ruins the 370z IMHO. Only 16bhp more, red calipers and crappy seats? You can get that performance with an UpRev for only £400
  20. Temporarily fitted like that, I don't have time this week to cut and adjust the gear lever. It looks nice to me, I quite like it This is the size that I would need to trim, about 15mm:
