  2. Good start, Ryan, welcome to the forum! What are your plans regarding the power and handling? Adrian
  3. Sorry to hear this, Rob! Hope the Police deals with the other driver and his insurance pays up quickly. Adrian
  4. Hi OllyB, I understand your view, of course. There are a million factors that can influence the longevity of the engine before and after it has been supercharged. Naming just a few: bad maintenance, wrong oil type, bad tuning map, using wrong fuel etc Who tuned your car before it went bang and what sort of power / torque were you running? Is there a build thread in here? Also, have to bare in mind that unlike few years ago where the 350z was still over £10k, you can now source an engine for less than £1k in case something goes bang. Is not like the risk is huge, comparing to risking a £30k new 370z
  5. Hi Pritchard, Please find your answers bellow: Yes, that is correct. No standalone ECU required, you only need an UpRev license and map adjustment. Both will be provided by the tuner. The Vortech V3 is way quieter than the V2 kit that I had installed on my 350z. There are quite a few people in here runing the V3 kit. Obviously your car won't sound like stock OEM car, but it's not going to sound bad / broken / agricultural You will get to love the sound in time and enjoy it together with the power it makes. Once you drive a FI 350z you won't want to drive a stock 350z ever again. No thicker headgasket required, but I would advise also fitting a plenum spacer if you don't have one already. Beside no 7 - M-Spec R-Rydes V2 1 Piece Vortech Charge Pipe - which is more a cosmetic upgrade, rather than having 3 pipes with 2 joins, all are required to achieve power figures, run smoothley and safer. The intercooler, oil cooler and some of the pipe work will sit inside the front bumper, it will fit the OEM bumper, so I don't think we would have any problems fitting inside the new bumper. What bumper you're having done at RT Performance? Any more questions please fire them up here or via PM. Adrian
  6. @Jp606, just have a browse on the US 370z forum, I've posted some links in the TORQEN threads, you'll soon find out the Stillen supporting mods are just crap @OllyB, where did your engine gone bang, on the road or on the dyno? Who tuned your car? @Bodyboarder81 & @nissanman312, you just need to look at the amount of people that have ran or still run FI zeds on here, not a lot of engine gone bang after having the FI, however we've seen more NA engines going bang this year than ever before. It really comes down to the tune, where it starts and how it's being improved and controlled by the tuner while on dyno. There is also a thread on here about FI reliability, have a look on that aswell. At the end of the day, for both 350z and 370z I had/have, it was down to creating a car with my signature on it, otherwise I could have bought a GT-R and never touch it. I love and enjoy modifying cars, not a fan of BMW M or resale Porsche Carrera cars at all

  12. Sounds like a very nice project! Good luck and keep updating this thread, watching with interest!
  13. That's a question to ask your bank manager! We will consider offering credit sometime towards the end of 2015 once the business is properly set up. Can I buy now, pay 2 years later? Adrian
  14. I know, I went through the same process when I did my 350z SC, I know exactly how you feel But worry no more, you got us now! Adrian
  15. Yes, go on google maps and go on street view, you'll recognise it there, although is now a brand new road
  16. But of course they never heard of us YET. We can't possible get these prices when we're just starting, by dealing directly with Stillen, we're dealing through an US supplier like we always did, there is nothing secret about it. They buy in massive volumes and are able to get low prices, that we or any other trader in UK would not be able to get, being a smaller market comparing to US. When we get to that stage, we will be dealing with them directly, but until then, how about saving you some money comparing to any other UK trader? Adrian
  17. Do tell us more, you just made us extremely curious!
  18. Congrats and have a nice time! Just leave your wallet with us, don't worry, we'll take good care of it, by the time you're back you'd have your SC waiting at your door!
  19. Nicest road we found in Wales so far, it's called OCTET's TRIANGLE
