Alex and Ricey, Aren't the calipers different for vented discs? i.e wider. the solid disc is thinner so you would have more travel on the existing piston. fine with new pads but what happens when the pads get near to fully worn, will there be enough travel in the piston to work them???? Only a thought.

As regards declaring it to your insurance, my son got done ( on his moped!!! ) and had to attend one. We phoned and asked his insurance after and they said it did not need to be declared as it wasn't a conviction.

Can any one confirm a comment in the for sale section that Zed cats have a scrap value of £120.00?? This would seriously influence my decision to treat myself to some Berks. The heat shields on mine are rattling. Cheers

Look through his feedback......items bought from salvage yards and car dismantlers, windscreen sealer. When you push him for answers he says he's going to end the auction??? Someone else might correct me but when Toby Hpi checked it, it came back as ACCIDENT loss. I'm sure stolen recovered is listed differently. Not trying to put you off or be really negative, just saying be careful.

Beau, It's not going to go for 5k. It will go for about 5,500 5,600. 1st month of owning it you spend another £1,500 putting everything right. That's how you can go wrong. Spend the £7,000 on a proper one. They are out there now.
