  1. Not seen the driver, parked up round the corner from me but each time I've got the spotted flyers and taken the dog for a walk ( as an excuse ) it's gone. Probably a good job, cos if her indoors sees me talking to some random blond, I'll have some explaining.
  2. Mike said... Having followed this thread I now have 3 different types on order/arrived! I suppose the best thing to do is test the resistance on the originals and fit the ones that match the closest (resistance)
  3. Were they honestly that poor quality? Ordered some last night.
  4. NeilP said Neil your labour costs are not "high" they are the going rate for a qualified tradesman as opposed to someone on the dole who does a bit of plumbing and kitchen fitting for cash. Hassan we do a lot for student landlords and I know where you are coming from. However as an example of how profitable student letting can/should be we've just done a large terrace in Manchester bought for £160.000 spent £8,000 now with four students in each paying £360 per month (total £1440) . What else can you put £170k into at the moment that gives you over a grand a month?
  5. AttakZ might have the best/cheapest answer... Just cut through the work top above washer and make that section removeable with metal edging strips. Bit of a bodge but CHEAP, Edit Looked at pics again, not possible, sink overhangs washer.
  6. The sink carcass will already have been butchered to fit it in its existing position with all the pipes/waste etc. It is not a simple matter of "sliding it across". Is there a power point for the washing machine in its intended new position. If not, add a sparky into the equation. Not trying to put a downer on this but we do refurbs for landlords for a living.
  7. DoogyRev........ Have I seen you on rogue traders???? £480 cash up front for materials eh
  8. +1 with Ekona. If you can get this done for less than £500 you've done well. Again as Ekona says plumbing materials negligible so get a price inc materials for plumbing. ( if not, they'll only blame/charge you extra when what you supply leaks or doesn't fit. ) You supply work tops and just get a price for re fitting tops and units.
  9. Black 05 with GT4 wheels parked round the corner from me. Very nice looking car. Is this the one Marzman spotted/talked to?
  10. As Coldel said plus make sure both the car area and the badge are really clean first, clean ALL old sticky off and warm double sided up a bit with hair dryer to make it stick better.
  11. Never mind Col I'm surprised you didn't spot the full set of S/H Brembos with discs on there at the moment. wasn't someone on here looking for a set recently? £575
  12. Welcome Did you originally post up in the North West section or was that just me imagining things?
  13. I don't think it's oem Col, but there is another genuine s/h one on there at the moment £4.70 when I last looked.
  14. Try Toby, EH350z he's at Middlesbrough Nissan. Worth a try.

I know when the guy quoted for mine he said some don't include the black plastic trim bits and he always includes those, but for all I know it could have been sales b*ll Having said that he made a really neat and clean job and didn't damage the paint which I was worried about.

Had mine replaced recently, cost £209.00 plus vat from a local company. I'm sure someone on here posted a cheaper price though a few months ago. I'd got £170 in my head for some reason. Sure someone will come along and confirm/disagree.
  17. If you use the Zed daily and intend using it through the winter when the gritters are out, you'd be mad not to wait til spring. Driving home Thursday night I got showered in grit twice. Thankfully i wasn't in the Zed.
  18. We'll have to find somewhere a bit more upmarket and in keeping with the Zed ethos!
  19. There's enough of us for a mini meet without travelling more than a mile!
  20. Yeh, that was me telling you at Krispy Kreme. There is a Silver one round the corner from me with a private plate. Need a spotted flyer.
  21. Macc Zed Crew! Well done Marzman, hopefully another recruit. Seen this 370 a few times. Hi Philw99, welcome to another Macclesfield member.
  22. Fixed it!!!!!! And it cost nothing! Thanks to SlimJim. For future ref. the sensor is located just under the bonnet latch and horns in front of the rad. Took it off, sprayed electrical cleaner and blew it out and now working o.k again. Flashing ICY must be some sort of default.
