  1. Just stopped for a cup tea and noticed post. Got mine up in the air waxoyling everything. Part that goes through bush is 32.3mm Oh and mines a 55 plate so 05MY
  2. Thought as much, various ways of doing it. Will PM you my mobile, just give me a ring and I'll advise. All F.O.C to club members. If it's medical advice or kitchen fitting DoogyRev is your man.
  3. "Purlins" are the big joists that support smaller roof spars or joists. So felt first then spacer battens on top of felt and spars then your metal roof cladding. 50mm tanalised battens should be enough. Just google " breathable roof membrane " If you want i can pm you my mobile and I'll talk you through it.
  4. Plus you are creating an air gap between the two.
  5. As above, excellent advice, but if you are starting from scratch it might be worth considering a breathable underlay onto roof joists, then battens and then fix your sheets to the battens. Any condensation forming on the underside of your sheets will be prevented from entering the garage by the beathable membrane. Again only a thought ( based on nearly thirty years in the construction industry )
  6. Only a thought.... Why not counter batten it and use a breathable membrane?

Turn the light on on your phone......... roll the window down and shine it towards the direction of travel.
  8. Further to what Ricey said, there was an article in the paper recently saying there was in increase in younger drivers giving a parent or relative's address in a lower risk postcode area to get lower premiums. Perhaps the recent claim albeit not your fault has triggered something.

  13. That's odd Stew, always pictured you living in a large detached
  14. Despite hating the damn things, or more so how they spoil the bumper, I ended up fitting some after my wife scraped the bumper reversing. Having been totally against it, in certain situations where low bollards etc are present it can actually be usefull.
  15. Amazing site Surely a pain to update though when they sell one or buy in new stock?
  16. Are we talking about the " Z " on the rear strut brace inside the boot or the one on the exterior of the boot?
  17. You'll find two round holes about 30mm in diameter behind it. So probably won't look too good as someone else has said.
  18. I definitely need to let my wife read some of these posts. Despite her thinking to the contrary, I think I'm pretty chilled compared to some of the posters on here. That's despite her taking a chunk out of the bumper, broken the key blip button and phoning me to say pressing it won't release the boot and throwing some clear reflectors I got from a trader on here with the recycling and telling me it was my fault because i left them in the kitchen! We're still talking.....
  19. Cheers Neil, It's one of those where you know it's probably not right, but two premium brand tyres, only done 500 miles at a bargain price....... you just want someone to come along and say yeh, they'll be fine
  20. As title, have been offered some 255/35/19s at a very good price as opposed to the 245 which seem to be the accepted size for the fronts on LMGT4 rims (8.5) Just wondered if anyone was running these and if there were any rubbing issues. As always, help and advice much appreciated.
  21. Do these panels not de-grade over time, giving less output? Who is responsible for maintenance?
