  1. Get a FIXED price from someone recommended and if you're not happy with the price don't employ them. Simples.
  2. I think his "mistake" was endangering the public!!!
  3. IF it is the buttons on the head unit, I have a spare front if that's any use. Need to check it is this first though.
  4. Have to agree with Ekona. 328 better than 348, then back on track with the 355, but the 360 was a step back again. For what my opinions worth.
  5. E type Jaguar, gradually ruined to comply with American regulations.
  6. Gutted for you mate. Seen you at Krispy Kreme meets and know how well you look after the car. Door cards are relatively easy to remove without damaging. Took mine off to fix a rattle in the door. At least the paints not broken, so the dent guy should be able to sort it.
  7. beheaded, beheaded, died, beheaded, beheaded, survived, isn't that theorrect rhyme? Isn't it " Divorced, Beheaded, Died, Divorced , Beheaded, Survived" ??
  8. Very nice! Dad had a black 240 back in the early 70's and have fond memories of being 10 or 11 at the time and my mates thinking it was a cool car. Thanks for posting
  9. Ha Ha RT, Jag ownership and the battle against rust seem to go hand in hand. Very interested in this Keyser. Every part I strip off the Jag is going to need refurbing. Starting to realise what a big project I've taken on. Found a company that will chemically strip and coat the body shell, but it's all the small bits that need blasting and etch priming straight away. what CFM is your compressor? Keep up the good work
  10. Super progress and taking shape. Churchill Paints, just down the road from us, are they any good?
  11. Great guide but call me paranoid about insurance companies jumping at any excuse to not pay out 20k or more, something along the lines of " I definitely haven't done this to my car but the the following is an option....." ???? There are insurance providers on this forum.
  12. I actually disagree with that, if something is a cat D then I want to see pics before, during and after so I can gauge how well the repair was done, which in this case was very well indeed. If the damage is hidden then I would be very wary about the vehicle, unless a full inspection was undertaken. It's to the OP's credit that he had full disclosure about the car's history. I meant the drivers headlight washer. No M.O.T and bits like this to me smack of lost interest, and or ran out money, "unfinished project for sale" Not for one minute saying this is the case but others might think that?
  13. There is another post recently for a high mileage GT4 same year but not accident damaged being sold by a trader at £6995, so as Ekona says I think yours is nearer the 5k mark.Lots of Hpi clear Zeds now coming up at what you are asking. Pictures with missing bits won't help either. Nothing personal, just an observation.
  14. While I appreciate that a lot of time, thought, dedication, effort and money has gone into this particular mod.......... I'm with Keyser
  15. Looking very good! As discussed, will have some E type bits for you once I get round to stripping it down.
  16. [ Too busy trying to spell "oriface"
  17. That would be so cool each county he passes through only to be stopped for questioning Haha And add that he's smuggling drugs secreted up a certain body oriface
  18. Seeing yours in my mirror on the Silk Road, made me wish I hadn't sold mine Owned 2 years
