  1. Wishing you all the best and as above, would be great to come and see you in action.
  2. Now we know why he's really put all those blue and red stripes on the 911. He'll be listening in on the emergency services frequencies next.
  3. Hope you had your high vis on Dan, notified highways, had the adequate insurance and done/filled in all the risk assesment forms before even exiting your vehicle! Lol
  4. Company near us that deals in nothing but. Always seem to have a good selection. http://www.ccbenz.co.uk/
  5. Looks good Dave. Edit. Just noticed, three Jag avatars in a row, do we win something?
  6. Depends what you intend doing. If you're going under the car, raising it quite high or taking off more than one wheel, then axle stands would be a safe bet.
  7. Bl**dy hell Dip! That's all you need. Sorry to see this and hope you get it sorted.
  8. With the new F type you can upgrade it to carbon fibre, it's only a 2 grand extra
  9. It's alright Vik, after continually saying to my lot, that at least the dog is always pleased to see me, doesn't run up horrendous bills and is the only one I don't need to be suspicious that he wants to "borrow" some cash when he's nice to me, they got me this for my Birthday......
  10. Can't say I've made much progress on mine other than a wasted trip to the highlands of Scotland to look at another bonnet. On a more positive note I' m building myself a shot blasting cabinet out of ply lined in stainless scrounged from a job. You'd be proud of my cabinet making RT. ( hopefully)
  11. I like it, just needs the sides doing now
  12. HAPPY BIRTHDAY Chris!! Have a great day.
  13. Hours of fun but unfortunately ended his days down at the bottom of the garden being shot at with an air rifle. Now they've got COD and don't even have to leave the house.
  14. The plastering contractor we use when I commented on the state of his van said he braked really hard once, and thought the airbags had gone off. It was all the spilt plaster dust. Had to get out of the van and wait for it to settle before driving off again. Its still a tip inside!
  15. " How alive are you? " Not sure if that's such a good marketing slogan. I took it to read " Check he's still got a pulse......." Can't speak for RT and SMD , but in my case it's probably appropriate,
  16. The stuff i bought is the FE 123 http://www.rust.co.uk/products/category/28125/fe-123-rust-converter/ As I say seems to work well and can be over painted with 2 pack or stone chip. I also bought the 121 epoxy mastic rust proofing paint to go over the treated metal, but not used that yet. http://www.rust.co.uk/products/category/28117/epoxy-mastic-rust-proofing-chassis-paint/ They are really helpfull on the phone, the guy who owns the company started off treating and preventing rust on the oil rigs. If you just want to test or try a bit, pm me your address and I'll post you a small amount.
  17. Again great progress. Have a look at http://www.rust.co.uk/ They do similar stuff to what Lexx recommended and next day delivery. Have bought some for the E type and seems to work well. Also http://www.frost.co.uk/automotive-rust-products.html Loads of restoration and coating stuff. They do the POR15 range which gets good reviews Keep up the good work!
  18. Why is it only the "Practical" cupboard that is kept under lock and key?
