Given the OP's recent thread "would you say your zed is a "chick magnet"?
I would say that with 4 flat tyres and a tape measure in your hand.............NO!
Hope you get it sorted.
Just for future reference, the best way to measure the pressure is with a pressure guage. As you are not mechanically minded, the best thing to do is get to a tyre fitters and get new valves. This is going to cost between £10 and £15 pounds per wheel. Better this than end up with a bigger problem because you can't get air in or check the pressures.
Back to the valve caps.....
Are they round or nut shaped?
If they are nut shaped they may have a little allen key grub screw in them as an anti theft deterrent.
If not try holding the stem of the valve with grips and the cap with a spanner/grips.
Don't go mad though as you can snap the end of the valve off!
I assume these are your wheels from a previous thread.
Edit plus what Dan says
Great work guys.
Would it be a major job to build some sort of test bed to put it on and run it up to temperature? ECU, fuel pump, rad, exhaust etc.
Don't know if it achieves anything, I just like the idea of testing an engine out of the car.
I'm a bit confused Beau, in your original post on page 1 you say it is registered as a Cat D and now you say it's not. Could you clarify this for potential buyers.
Yup but with the kit I have (an engineering steel rule )doubt I would detect it, I could put it in mine but then I'd have to swap the cams and bore it out etc etc
This might seem a daft question, but out of interest, what would be an accurate way to check the block and head.?
 Its the interior that made me want it!
When i used to be into BMW's there was a very rare oxblood leather interior which looked very similar to this, but i couldnt find it anywhere in the UK at the time and i wanted it so badly.
All the best with the viewing on Saturday Chris. Have you looked at any others to compare?
If you need an extra pair of critical viewing eyes, I'm about Saturday.
Funnily enough I think the interior looks good too. It's a possibility for the E type.

Only come on here to make sure Wizurd is looking after mine. I see it in the same way as if your wife or girlfriend had left you, no reason you can't stalk her on social network sites.
Fortunately there is a small JAAAAAG subforum on here with SMD and RT Biscuit.
Get yourself some of these or similar.

We bond stainless sheet with Sikaflex, similar to Tiger Bond and they are great for cleaning up excess adhesive and your hands if you get it on them. Also use them to de grease your parts prior to bonding. Wax polish on the bumper will impair the adhesives ability to bond.
Hope this helps.
In short, it is a riddle, wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma.
But most importantly, first rule of Zed Shed, is don't mention Zed Shed.
Hope that clears it up.
