With this in mind, I'm thinking of investing heavily in early Sinclair C5s and G Wizs.

Before you make any major changes, live in it for a while to get a better idea of your requirements. You don't want for instance to install a new kitchen only to feel the need to knock a kitchen wall down later or extend. Don't decorate the hall stairs and landing and fit new carpet if you are planning to fit a new bathroom suite. Sounds common sense but you'd be amazed how many do. Basically don't do a Keyser! (only kidding mate)

Laminate flooring, because of its hard top surface tends to eat saw blades. We tend to use a good jigsaw and blades for laminates that have teeth that cut on the downstroke. As regards tiles, cutting more than a few with anything but a wet cutter will produce lots of dust. Hope this helps, I'm sure others will contribute more.

I used two pack epoxy about 8 years ago and it has been brilliant. It's had brake fluid, thinners, trolley jacks and a lot more. Probably due a refresh now. I think Its important that fresh screed or concrete has fully cured (and it's surprising how long this can take) before it is applied. I bought a big industrial roller. Make sure you are all set up as once it's mixed and you start applying it you can't stop.

A well known footballer in Cheshire avoided successful prosecution for a speed in excess of 100mph in a national speed limit a while ago because the speed gun used had not been properly calibrated. As you say, unless he admitted it straight away when questioned, or a passenger ended up as the star prosecution witness, based purely on video footage similar to that shown, the likes of Nick Freeman would have probably got him a lighter sentence.

Excellent advice. You've started with thin stuff which is much harder. Get a few bits of 2mm to practice on to build your confidence up. Get the best mask you can. Seeing what you are doing is half the battle. A proper pair of welding gloves. Practice and know what is going wrong. Not enough penetration, wire speeds, bad earth, etc. More importantly and stating the obvious, always check nothing is smouldering away. ready to catch fire when you pack up and go back in the house!

And there would be the small matter of having to declare the dispute with your neighbour to the purchaser.

**TDK black 350z with hatch up and 4 wheels in the boot heading out of Macclesfield towards Knutsford. Taking it very steady. Car looked super low with stretched tyres. I can only assume the 4 in the boot were spares.

Alarm, cctv? Electric gates, intercom, outside lighting, power for hot tub.....

Set of triple Webbers it is then..... Already priced them up but I have spent like 3x more than I had planned on this car already I know the feeling! Going back to the SU carbs, I'm sure there is a guy on the e type forum that rebuilds them. If I can find it I'll pm you.

Loads acting out at a 45 degree angle must be taken into consideration as you go down below the footings for the pit, if that makes sense. Building control are very particular about this sort of thing but as Dan says if it is retro fitted and a bit of common sense applied to constructing it, I can't see a problem.
