  1. Your mechanic should have totally remove the battery before taking out the throttle body as it messes up the idle sensor. I guess he didnt. You will need to try those reset procedures and see if they work, try disconnecting the battery over night and see if that helps as well.
  2. I think the colour scheme on it at the moment with the black and silver works very well. But Gloss Black may look good as well.
  3. I am running a 9.5J rim at the rear with a offset of E15. I am running 285 35 19 Pirreli tyres on it and it does occasionally rub but I am not lowered, so I can definitely say that it will touch/rub with 285's, maybe even 275's but this also depends on your choice on tyre. You might even need to put some camber on the wheels to get away with it but I am not sure. Got any pics of these wheels?
  4. The pagid pads are crap as hell, stay well clear of them. There are better alternative than the Brembo pads as well, but if you want to stick to the brembo's I have seen them on ebay for around £40 a pair.
  5. Looks like they did a good job but you cant really tell as the paint is very fresh. If they did a bad job you will see in a month or so if there was any dirt/dust trapped under the paint work. Wanna give us a rough price of how much you paid....

    bodywork advice

Are you using canned spray paint? I would seriously not go down this road as it will not last very long, and you will get a much better finish using a compressor and a spray gun. Also, if you are spraying it in cold weather you may get orange peel on the paint, so be careful. Also when spraying on the lacquer, you are best to give it a few coats but make sure they are thin coats as lacquer is very heavy. Then use 1200 sand paper, then 1500 and for a even smoother finish 2000. Once done you can using a fine compounding paste which will bring the colour out and make it very glossy.
  7. When spraying cars, you get paint that over sprays in the air ect and most of this should get sucked up with the extractor but some may not and therefore will settle on the glass (which should have been covered properly). Most paint tinners or white spirits which you can get from B&Q will remove it very easily, and leave no dirt behind. Give it a go, I had this problem before and I am sure it is the same thing you have.
  8. I think what you are seeing is small spots of over spray. It happenned with me as well. White spirit or any sort of tinnners will take it out. Use it with a cloth and gently wipe the glass, it should come off very easy.
  9. Re-mapping is the best option but some chips can work very well to on simple diesel engines. I was going to get one for my Landcruiser, but I decided not too as this can lead to a lot of problems. It basically pushes your engine to the limit reducing the life span of the engine as well.
  10. Get some pics up when you have them fitted!
  11. Try a thicker density oil, but dont mix oils so another oil change.
  12. £136 for everything behind the B pillar, they had a special offer on for that month I think anyone is capable of doing window tinting. 2 people, window cleaner in a spray bottle, window cleaner and a microfibre cloth, couple cards and patience. I did mine my self and it came out very good. No wrinkles at all. Got the tint for under £20 so if you mess it up you cant complain.
  13. Find someone who is breaking a 350z and get a quote. Im sure it will be less than £50.
  14. They really suit that colour. Glad you Like them!

    Hot Cabin

I have noticed that you get a lot of heat from the left side of your foot next to the gearbox. Especially on long journeys you can feel the heat coming from it. Could this be a issue.
  16. Sorry. It will be well worth changing them, they look a lot better! And its not much work taking the bumper off and there are plenty of guides!
  17. Yes, they do fit the Nismo Bumper. I am abroad at the moment and will be back next week wednesday. As soon as I get back I can get it posted out to me. PM me if you are interested!
  18. Yes front tyres. Does the traction control monitor the front wheels? I wasn't sure how much a difference 5mm would make, didn't realise the traction control would be so sensitive. Do Zs with 17" wheels have the same rolling radius? Yes, 17" willl have the same rolling diamter or close to the 18". It is best to keep it orignial or as close as possible. Or else there has been cases where the traction control kicks in at low speed when cornering ect. It can be quite dangerous.
  19. Glad you like them! Get some pics up of them once you have fitted them.
  20. sorry, they do not do it 06 + models. But I will try and find out if they can make them. I'm also interested in '06 onwards version for my '57 I have contacted him and other people but no one seems to make aftermarket side markers for the 06 onwards model. How much of a difference are the side markers? What about these.... http://www.conceptzperformance.com/Cart ... .26.214.74 http://www.nissanautosports.com/nissan- ... 4-prd1.htm http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/JDM-350Z-FRON ... _785wt_913 I'd prefer the black ones but these are still better than the standard amber. I will have a look at most certainly get back to you.
  21. That was quick! I posted them this morning first class. Yeh, get some pics up!

  23. 28??? A wee bit low. Should be 35 psi +- 2 depending on how hard the tyres sidewalls are. I have quite a high sidewall. I run 285 35 19 rear and 265 35 19 for the front where as most people use a 30 profile. So 28 works well.
