Hi, I made this same mistake when taking out my mirror out, thankfully the new mirror I have had the cable on it. My reason for replacing was also due to the mounting breaking. :pmr35lee: as I think he has some mountings! Good Luck

If they are dusty, surely that means that they are wearing quite fast...I would prefer to pay a bit more for quality plus I wouldnt have to wash the wheels so often! So overall what would you guys recommend? The Brembo's or other stuff? Thanks

The discs are fine though, will the apex brakes fit in the brembo brakes... Im after something which is good quality, long lasting, doesnt release too much brake dust, and good stopping power I guess.... yes... Thanks, Ill have a look at these then, Also heard of some called Yellow and ferrodo? any good?

Hi Guys, Had a look at the front break pads and they are quite worn.... They are Brembo and it appears to have only lasted for about 27,000 miles... Is that good or Bad? Anyway Im after a new set. What is best, Buy New Brembo ones or are there some that are cheaper but as good? Thanks, Beau

You can go a lot wider on lower offsets and rubbed/cut arches and with some camber. With rolled arches I could probably get at least another inch on top of 285. (Running 285 currently) Are you experiencing rubbing with your 285's? And I dont intend to do anything to the camber or roll over the arches....But just out of interest how do you roll over the arches...Any pics and how is it done, cost? Advantages, disadvantages? Thanks

Ill see how they go, if they rub I will just replace them. Thanks for the advice, but also I have heard some people running 285, even 295's and on the american forum they go as big as the 305's and lowerd too!

Yes, mine rubbed at stock height on 285's at the rear, had the arches rolled. 275 would be pretty much perfect. But what offset did you have at the back?

If you mean 285 at the rear, 285 is pretty fat on 10.5", I really wouldn't on a 9.5" rim. Though 255 is ever so slightly stretched on 9.5. 265 would be better for protection, but i'd still run 255 personally. Another thing to note, 285/35/19 is pretty much guaranteed to rub at the rear. Guaranteed to rub at the back! I dont want that... You sure? I wont be lowering it at all and Im making sure that it sits inside the arch and not on the edge....

Sure mate, Ill get some pics and dimension up for you tomorrow. As for taking out the steering rack, at first it was quite difficult as its very had to get a 17mm socket as there are loads of obstacles in the way but you just have to find the right combination. Also make sure you spray a bit of WD40 the day before as these nuts are torqued quite a lot. I used a Long strong arm and a 17mm impact socket half inch. I removed the A frame at the bottom of the car to gain some space. I you need some help PM me! Oh and I still have the old steering steering rack, also the bushes on that are still like new considering the cat had did only 25,000 miles before the accident.... Beau Thanks Beau I have been spraying all the nuts and bolts underneath the car for the last 2weeks as I will be taking off all the control arms soon to swap urethane/solid bushes! so it should pay off I am confused about the A frame you mentioned?! I am guessing it is these 2 you are replacing.... Regarding the "A Frame" thing. It is a A shape sorta thing, Black at the bottom, runs from the left to the right and has about 8 nuts which hold it in place either side. On that pic you showed me it is the Black piece on the right, It is hard to miss when your underneath and has to be taken off in order to be able to get a socket to take off the bolt. Well firstly the front width size are 9.5J and with a offset of 35. I am also going to stick 20mm spacers all round. The plan is to run 265 35 19 in front and 285 35 19 rear... I dont see much of a problem doing this. Also I dont like running too much of a small rim on such wide wheels are the wheel pops out too much.... Also susceptible to curbing ect.... Just my Opinion!

I spent a good few hours sweeping and dusting out the garage so it was all good! Ideally a spray Booth would of been best but you have to make do with what you have got, in this case a small garage

Hi Guys, One of the front Jet washer covers are missing. The drivers side one! Anyone got one or know where I could get one. Any help appreciated Beau

Well this morning I took the covers off and the paint matches up perfectly. You can see a slight, ever so so slight difference but this is because the paints newer. Once it beds in and the whole car gets polished up it should be fine!

Hi Guys, My friend of mine did his spray work today and it came out fantastic! Here are some pics....They are a bit dull but thats because of the fumes in the air at that time. Also didnt realise how hard it was to get the right colour. You needed to start off with a very dull yellow with couple Coats and then 1 or 2 coats of this very intensively bright yellow which then makes the original Ultra Yellow on the car. Also applied a clear coat over the paint! Priming the nismo Side Skirts Car covered and ready to be sprayed! And here we go! I will post some more pics up tomorrow of the entire car, as I will give her a good wax, but first spray the front Bumper and the other side skirt. And then its just the interior and wheels that need to be sorted out.... And you guys said you need a professional to spray! Beau
