Also what is you guys insurance like, Im getting around the £470 mark zone with 15+ no claims, children and married! 35 years of age!

I would never drive my car with brake pads@ £30 quid. I simply couldn't trust them as I have always found that you only get what you pay for. Please keep us updated over long term on these pads to whether they break up like the brembo ones due to heat etc. Other members will value the feedback alot. I have only had them on for about a month and so far so good. I do however have the same brand Mintex on my Toyota Land cruiser 4x4 and they are excellent. Long life, no brake dust (hardly) and about 2-3 years out of them (45,000 or so) and I live in Milton Keynes, where there is a roundabout every half mile so braking is very heavy!

If you are going to upgrade I am pretty sure you are going to have to do all. Regarding pads, I have Mintex and they are well worth it. £30 for a pair, There great on the road and hardly any brake dust... Much much better than the brembo but I can not compare it with others.

I think the ride quality will have the biggest change, depends for what sort of drop you go for. There is a 15mm drop I think and then a 30mm drop. Im sure you will still be able to go through humps ect but it will have to be very careful, plus having the v1 bumper which is made out of fibreglass, there will be no flex...

The overall project took about 3 months, however most of the time was spent on sourcing parts, plus we had to wait for the correct weather to paint!

Thanks, The airbag that was deployed was the drivers side curtain airbag as well as the drivers side seat.... I think I saw some sort of module device located just behind the centre. So is it just one module for all the airbags or does each airbag have it's own module? And after I install that, can I reset it manually? Or will I have to take it to Nissan?

I have tried some of the youtube videos, It's just that on there airbag light it seems to flash after 6/7 seconds but mine just stays on..... Also, will having the airbag light on fail the MOT?

Hi guys, Just one slight problem and it is the airbag light. The seat airbag was deployed so I am guessing that is why it has gone off. I have replaced the airbag and connected everything back up. Is there anyway way of manually removing the light. I have tried some methods I have found but no luck. Unlike the videos I have seen my airbag light comes on and stays on, doesn't flash at all. Any help will be much appreciated! Beau

You will need to remove the plate and behind the plate there are 2 screws which hold it onto the bumper. You need to do it from the front. Also you will be left with 2 holes. I guess if your number plate goes back there they wont show?

This happened to me on a previous car. I think I was using something too strong for the wheel and it had basically melted the brake dust and had a reaction with the wheel paint and looked exactly like yours. It is now embedded into the paint. But if you didnt use anything strong on the wheels than I dont know what it could be.

I ran out of back to black so had to leave them like that!

Ohh The facelift models have the bigger ball joint including the GT4. I have just swapped mine though for a 12mm when it was meant to be a 15mm. Had no issue so I guess it does not matter too much?

I am 99% sure that they are all the same mate!
