  1. They tend to go for around £60 - £70.
  2. Im not too sure about disc, Alex is a trader on here and deals with upgrade packages, hes your man! And the pads can be bought from ebay I believe!
  3. There are many different brakes on the market. The ferrodo seem popular, and perform well on track. I went for a cheaper option for some mintex pads. They are Brilliant, just as good as the original brembo's and not as much brake dust and only £38 per set.
  4. Beau

    Relay issue?

Your next step would probably be to run some sort of diagnostics check, which means taking it into nissan, and see if they pick up any faults.
  5. Ok, This is the front one! and the rear
  6. I dont really have any pictures, but I run 9.5" all round. I run 265 35 19 in front and 285 35 19 rear. This is keeping it within the tolerance so that there are no traction control problems. ect The 245 is a little stretched but not a lot and the 285 sits on the rim square.
  7. why not try to get a second hand diff off breakers, or ebay?
  8. well, accrding to the 350z manual, throttle control problems can give you both the traction control and slip light on your dash, so its worth a try! Have you tried the throttle reset? No, I have not. What is it? And I did add more braked fluid when I thought it was low previously....
  9. Good luck! I have also checked the fuses, everything goood!
  10. I dont think my problem is as bad as yours. Tomorrow I will give thr throttle body a clean and see if this makes any difference. Other than that, I cant see what the problem could be.
  11. well, accrding to the 350z manual, throttle control problems can give you both the traction control and slip light on your dash, so its worth a try!
  12. Can I remove it completely? I have read I will need to disconnect the negative terminal of the battery first though.
  13. Hey guys, As your aware I have 2 lights coming up. The slip light and traction control light. After reading the manual, throttle control problems could be one issue. I have heard that the throttle body can get dirty and this then needs cleaning. Has anyone done this?
  14. It also says if there are problems with the throttle control system those lights will be on. Is there anything that goes wrong with the throttle control?
  15. This handbook right? http://www.diy.icydesigns.com/manual/29 ... SM/brc.pdf Yep, thats the one!
  16. That's hardly stretched then. If you're saying 9.5" square, 285 at the rear seems a bit too fat tbh. I guess you could run through the technical handbook, seems to have masses of stuff on tc. I have, and I have changed the wheel sensor, and hub, cleaned ect. And no change!
  17. What width is the front wheel? Incidentally, I doubt it's the tyre sizes being that close. All the rim width are 9.5".
  18. Your wheel and tyre sizes are fine Beau ......... fronts are +1.27%, rears are +0.65% ...... both well within the 2.5% recommendation Thats what I thought too. I made sure of this when buying the tyres! So what could the issue be?
  19. Hmm that would be very stretched on the tyre, and is not what Im after...
  20. Hi guys, I am having a problem with my 350z. The traction control light and slip light comes on as soon as I drive off. A few times, at low speeds, the abs also kicks is at the front wheels, mainly right. Once restarting the zed, the light is off until I start driving for 50 yards or so. I have read that having the wrong tyre size can cause this. I am running 265 35 19 in the front and 285 35 19 rear both on 9.5" wheels. What size are tyres are you guys running? I have also read that there could possibly be a problem with the wheel sensor. I have swapped the sensor and the hub and this has not made any change. Also read that low brake's fluid can affect it, but it is fine. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? Any help much appreciated!
  21. I just checked the brakes fluid and it is close to max. Will I need to reset anything then? When restarting the light is off, until I drive where it then switches back on.
  22. Thanks for this. I will give it a go and see!
  23. I need some new pads and was given a choice of mintex or padget (German) by my local Bristol garage (main dealer told me £405 to fit front and rear!!). Guess not as good as Yellowstuf but has anyone got experience with these? Thanks I have used mintex on other cars. They are very good. The padget stuff is rubbish, doesnt last long, loads of brake dust, Go for the mintex But £405 is a lot. The mintex pads are on ebay for just under £40 for a front set.
