To clarify things, when I bought the car it was for sale as a "CAD D". This I imagine would have been what the insurance company accessed the damage to be. Now I'm not certain on how it works, but I think it works partly on the value to repair the car to what the cars worth...
Anyway, what I'm trying to say is the cars not actually registered as a "CAD D" but upon receiving it, it was advertised so. On the DVLA V5 it does not state any form of accident or CAD D in it's history.
I know it seems this cars been for sale for 2 years, but I've been using it and this is the first time I am serious about selling it as I'm migrating to the US. However if it does not sell for around what I am asking I will be taking her to the US with me. I get the feeling a lot of people on this forum feel I have bodged this job and fixed it up on scrap but that is certainly not the case. My 16 year old son encouraged me buying the car as his all time favourite car was the 350z and at the time unaffordable for me until this this came up. I then bought it and me and my boys brought it back into life. CAD D's may go for 40% less value but I couldn't care less. I know what the cars worth to me and I'm happy to keep it if it doesn't sell. She's more than a piece of metal to me.
Also the whole reason why I documented it on here was for the enjoyment of you guys as well as receiving help from the community which was fantastic. The original reason why I have put this up for sale is because my other son has purchased a bare supra sell and we now have plans on building up a custom Supra. Alongside this I only drive her 6 months of the year and put on less than 3000 miles so she's not getting used much, as the milleage shows.
Anyway she's coming out of hibernation soon for her last few months on British soil (if she doesn't sell) so anyone wanting to check her out in flesh is welcome.
