  1. I've got the 650 2ch version for info........and did exactly the same as Adrian - just watch the headliner across the top of the windscreen as it can be a bit brittle
  2. There's sooooo much mileage in this
  3. as Payco also said - yep - just tucks in - the only trim I removed was the A pillar and that just clipped off with some gentle teasing and pulled off the door rubber seal at the head to run the cable from the rear
  4. I've run mine down to the fuse box in the drivers side foot well and used the power master thingy + bringing a rear cam from the back to the front is also not an issue just tucking it into the trim was far easier than I thought it was going to be I suspect though it maybe more awkward to get it into the 12v socket in the middle go for it
  5. he bought his 2nd ticket over the desk at the station the 1st one was probably trainline.com- but not sure as he did it not me
  6. I know we're pretty much on a hiding to nothing, but wondered if anyone knew what the procedure was to "try" and reclaim something I'm not talking about going in all guns guns blazing as clearly my son is the guilty party here
  7. agreed - but where rail is concerned you can buy your ticket on-line 5 minutes before at a much lower cost than on the train or station - admittedly not as low as the 2 weeks before option
  8. got your attention though however, how does a ticket bought on-line go from £40 to £88 when bought on the station - thats the barsteward bit
  9. indeed - there's no doubt it's his fault - just sort of hoping we could claim something back as the total cost is now over £120 and just seems "reasonable" that they could have taken his old ticket as part payment he was on the station 45minutes early, so no issue with his timekeeping - just stupidity in respect of not looking at the obvious signs done this trip a couple of times in the zed now - on average it costs 3/4 of a tank of fuel
  10. My son bought his ticket from York to Home a couple of weeks ago - cost = £40 he arrived in plenty of time on the platform that his ticket said (although didn't check the overhead announcements) and yep - you guessed it, missed his train went to the ticket office to get the next train and would not honour his current one and charged him £88 for a new ticket is there anything we can do to reclaim at least some of it ?

not particularly - but it is annoying not sure "poor mans" and "Nissan" could be used separately anyway

thats the 1st one i quite like the look of.....let alone performance
  18. as an "un-named" driver on some elses car you are only covered 3rd party
  19. On reflection that would've been a smart idea but I'd like the flexibility to be able to move it myself. just put yourself as a named driver ........... although there technically could be issues about who is the "main" driver
  20. I've asked this question before ........ and not sure you're correct here the fact that its off a public highway or not as far as road tax is concerned is irrelevant other than you then can't take it on a public road ...because you have no insurance - so because you would have no insurance, there is no need to not have it road taxed. This as far as I can see works both ways round unless you've found something else to confirm otherwise ? I await to be knocked firmly back down and replaced back in my box re : theft and damage etc - no question - if you want to minimise your risk then, yes you have to insure it
