I'm probably not understanding something here but... electric is produced at a power station from mostly dirty fuels ie fossil or nuclear I do heat loss calculations for houses and as soon as I put electric heating in it, the rating just drops off terribly (these are government figures and software) so how are electric cars rated as clean ............ ok, so they don't emit emissions from the car, but they do at the point of generation
