Please tell me you're female lolZ ah well, 18" may be a slight exageration (just for effect) ....... but still only a little 'un at 5'4" and my wife is 5'6" - I have to stand on a step !! .... but if i don't its still a nice place to be

  13. yep - the lock symbol I can live with - it was my son riding shotgun who pointed it out. I'm most definately rural based, so street lights are optional extras
  14. Slightly off topic - but running with the earlier comments my neighbour is a plumber and he definately checks out the house car etc and adds the following "price for the work will be £xxx.xx, then he pauses, and if they dont blink or comment he say plus labour, same again if they dont react he says plus VAT"
  15. Went out in the dark last night for the 1st time in the Z and was completely distracted by interior lights. I can turn the general pod lights etc down but not the main beam indicator light (the blue one) + the passenger side lock symbol is there any way of dimming these ?
  16. oi - hands off - that would be cheating BTW...any more pics of your stunning new car no - sorry - too busy have seen the post for the calender though so might try and get something up soon - would be nice to have one of these on there (seeing as so far its only me and Waltong (his is that nasty white colour ) have one ??)

  18. if you do a lot of stop / start town/city traffic - get an AT, if not, stay with a manual - clutch is fairly heavy (but I'm getting used to it
  19. I do not need to let my wife see this !!! somehow, I managed to convince her that whilst the TT did more to the gallon, diesel is more expensive than petrol, so fuel running costs will probably work out the same ps I didn't tell her it needs super
  20. Few burnouts and bit of hard braking will sort that out (thats a joke before anyone tries it!) yep - gently, gently been trying to keep the revs fluctuating as much as possible by keeping to the back roads - couldn't avoid it this morning though - steady 40-50mph I know everything is still tight and been doing the usual show off with mates (by that i mean taking everyone for trips out), but have only used half a tank so far and its averaging 23mpg - so at this stage i consider that
  21. hi all done about 200 miles now - have read else where, that it would be a good idea to replace the oil and filter at around this mark to get rid of the "new" engine contaminents. Is this recommended, what have others done ? and if so - what oil and filter should be used cheers Andy
  22. I forgot to mention I'd agreed half a tank of fuel as part of the deal - when i went to pick her up, he said he couldn't remember what he'd agreed on the fuel, so..............he filled it to the top .............. Result
