  1. You will definitely need a low profile one for the zed, preferably with some length making jacking up the front easier. Sealey do good low profile ones which some dealers now sell on eBay to up their sales.
  2. What's the top speed that project Zed has got up to? Looked pretty insane on Sunday.
  3. She can drive my Zed any day if it means I can ride shotgun whilst she's wearing that skirt, damn if need be I'll steal another one
  4. I bought that one, all you get is fuzzy reception. Works if you put your hand on top of it .
  5. I could quite easily pick that up without thinking about where I would put it, it's lovely .
  6. Keep us posted on this one & I hope they sort it out quickly. What courtesy car did you get? 1.0 Micra?
  7. Changed the battery, only time will tell .
  8. No matter what, you will enjoy a Z, especially on a long 2+ hour drive.
  9. I see it all the time and I live in the outskirts of London. It's that "I WILL BE LATE!!!" mentality. It's the same thing we all see when someone will overtake you like an idiot, speed off only for you to pull up besides them at the traffic lights.
  10. My PS3 is wired into my router and pics up the media server. It can be temperamental as sometimes Windows can reject it or your router's security may not like it. I have just bought a new PC so have't really tried it yet. I think I gave up on the old PC and suddenly it started working.
  11. I love those dogs. I hear a they are famous for becoming quite destructive to furniture etc, had any issues? I have a boxer myself and he's very boisterous even at 4-5 years old. He needs a good 2 hours of exercise a day.
  12. If that was me I would look like this for weeks: I hope it gets sorted quickly, it's always a sad day to see nice cars off the road. As far as prosecution, it wouldn't happen it would be based on one persons story against another's, did you get any independent witnesses? The day CPS would authorise that going to court...
  13. Cool video Not enough of my car though in my opinion There was a 350z with a Veilside kit that had a NOS kit, not sure if it was used on the strip though. The drive home could have been worse (stuck in a huge amount of traffic on the M1 ) had it not been that for a good part of the journey myself, Wizard and another Zed had a bit of fun for about 25 miles. I stuck it in the media section but here's a few pictures to have a look through: viewtopic.php?f=34&t=50823
  14. I was at Japshow at Santa Pod this weekend. I was REALLY tempted to take a drive up to Scotland last week, I was ill and started to get restless. I nearly jumped in the car at 10pm and went for it and stayed at a Premier Inn on the way. The weather was what really put an end to it. I still may have to do it the next time I have more than 3 or 4 days off work.
  15. I've done it before but I was certain, I even thought maybe I hadn't so made a conscious decision to do it. I'll see if I have a spare battery kicking around and see what happens.
  16. I finished work today at midnight, jumped in the car and it wouldn't start at all . The starter motor was going but there was no life in the car at all. After about 10 minutes of on/off attempts it started to "try" and start but the life would go out of it, then finally started up. I pulled away and pulled into another car park as I forgot my wallet in the office, came back and the starter motor itself wouldn't even try when turning the key. I turned the ignition off and left it for 5 minutes, try again and it started up first turn. Obviously this isn't the best description, but I wondered if anyone has had a similar issue and has an idea of what it may be from the off. I do have a warranty on the car when I bought it, but if I can get some sort of idea that would be great. Could it possibly be the battery in the key fob? I don't know if it is somehow linked to the immobiliser? Cheers Ruined a good day as the spacers came for the car today, was looking forward to fitting them tomorrow .
  17. The show could be so much bigger than it is if they advertised more or linked up with another big promotor. I have one or two more of the girls but generally there wasn't many at the show and most of the one who were there without being rude were ummmm... Yea... I'll get some more pictures up later today.
  18. Here's some pictures from the show today, not as good as I would have hoped but there was so much glare on the drag strip it was hard to get anything decent: Zeds: Other stuff: This ends the age old debate about who has the fastest 350z... He wins Stunt show:
  19. It's a good thing really. He would have done the same to anyone else, they shouldn't get any preferential treatment.
  20. Will do. Hopefully the weather holds out.
  21. I'm going to do my best to make it for 8am. I've been pretty ill all week and not slept very well so if I can get a decent nights kip I'll leave around half 6 tomorrow.
  22. I got one of those no reception at all where I live, too short .
  23. Nice lol. And the music as cheesy as it is is perfect .
  24. Really shows how much a postcode can affect insurance rates. I'm the same age in a fairly nice suburb of London (still not exactly Cornwall here though) and I pay under £800 fully comp. in case you haven't already, add you parents onto the policy, it dropped mine about £300.
