  1. Ash, Can you PM me price and details on your clutch please? Thanks.
  2. Hello all, I'm looking for a set of wing mirrors for an early Jap import to replace my veilside ones. Any (cheap) condition considered. Thanks!
  3. Can you post the wheel nuts to me (in Essex). If so and they're still available, I'll take them.

I'd go for the megane. I had an R26 and couldn't really fault it. The newer ones are meant to be a step on from that.
  5. Can you give me a price and first refusal on the brakes and the seats please. Thanks
  6. CMR, I'll take it if it's still available.
  7. Does the plate fold forward then slide back (underneath)? Do you know what make it is?
  8. No problem nowhereboy. The comments weren't directed at you personally, more a general opinion for anyone in that situation. Sounds like in your case you just haven't "clicked" with the car. At the end of the day you are clearly a driving enthusiast and if the Z isn't rocking your boat then I'd say go and find something that does. I've tried to get on with cars that I "should" have liked but just didn't (also an R32 Golf...they really are a bag of shite!). It really ruins your fun! Hope you find something soon! Good luck with the search!
  9. This is a great post! So I thought I'd give my opinion for what it's worth (usually very little!) 1. Totally agree! If you've overstretched yourself financially you'll never really enjoy it. You'll forever associate it with the stress of financial hardship. People only look at the cost of buying a car, never of using it how they want to. 2. True again 3. If you're in this situation, spend a few hundred quid on some advanced driving lessons. Not only will you be able to get the most out of the car, you'll be safe and find that you're using WAY less fuel in normal driving conditions. It's not as boring as you might think and you wont be lectured on not breaking the speed limit the whole time. 4. Agree again. If it's not right, get something else. A car is a car. If you change your mind again, it's not like a 350z is hard to find. Basically, are you imagining something realistic? I've seen this before with people caught up in the romance of a race car on the road...they quickly found out race cars are horrible, loud, uncomfortable, impractical, unreliable things! They weren't prepared to accept that.
  10. Not really. Learn to ride properly and be realistic about your skill level and the only thing you have to worry about is other drivers.
  11. Yep, he's my best mate. It's Duncan. You'd need to register it but you don't need lights, indicators, etc, etc like most people think. The bike in the first pic I posted is road legal and has pretty much nothing! You could run it on the off road tyres but the front brakes can be a bit weedy for road work and you'll get insane corners with a SM set up so keep an eye out on ebay. Grab my number off Rich is you want to know anything else mate.
  12. Yep, I think it was that one. Tell me more....
  13. Nice bike. For the road you could even get a pair of supermoto wheels and swap them back and forth if you're on/off road. djrm...Not a friend of richie don are you?
