what the hell is "YAPFV "? would be great if that happened but this season was over a good few races ago. ferrari and Mclaren need to step there game up next season. ferrari have allready announced that they are focussing on next years car. many people think its ok to roll over and say "well, Red bull have adrian newey" this isnt really acceptable. especially coming from the 2 most succsesful badges in motorsport. Red bull and vettel have made all the other teams look like ammetures this season. if i were whitmarsh or luca demont....(however its spealt) i would be very embarrased

i got a non-GT, i saved a fortune and it had the rays wheels on (i wouldnt settle for a car without them) TBH, from what i hear about the bose system, its a nightmare for skipping etc, i have never had a problem with mine. it would be nice to have heated leather but the fact that i have had my car since feb and i enquired aboiut trade in value a moth ago and would only have been £250 down, im pretty happy i may struggle to sell it by the end of my planned ownership period but il worry about that when i get to it GT would be nice, but if youre willing to go without leather you can save a bundle, and there are some well kept non-GTs out there. I must admit though, the standard wheels look terrible, definately go for one with RAYS What ever you do though, DON'T RUSH into buying one.

Yeah. it was a shame, but given the lead vettel had you may argue that he deserved to have a few cars between them. it was funny on the restart. martin Brundle: "so sebastian vettel has decided to... leave them for dead" I dont think Mclaren had enough fuel to push all the was through the race, which is why Button says he was surprised when his engineer said "OK jenson (allways starts with this i find it quite funny, listen for it next race) time to challenge for the lead" Button is very good at managing his race pace, his engineers allways help deliver on the strategy aswell. Also, Buttons extreme fitness was obviously a key factor. he looked relatively full of energy compared with the other drivers after the race. that said, i think vettel would have had him covered.

Quite an eventful race. its a shame all the action is in the mid-field and not at the front. anyone watch the post-race forum? Massa was not happy with lewis at all. maybe the blame is towards lewis but compared with everything else that went on, i'm surprised he got a drivethrough for that. I'm not a Hamilton fanboy but he recovered his race very well today, pulling off some great overtakes after he got out of sync with his pit stops. Button definately seems to be the golden boy at McLaren these days, and i think lewis is felling that pressure a little. Hats off to Vettel. He is awesome and has made full use of the best car in the field this season. i wonder if once he has the championship entirely in the bag we will see some clever strategy by Red bull to make sure mark finishes second. shame he has struggled with the starts and getting used to the tyres this season or we may have had a good competition between the two RBR drivers. Paul Di resta has definately made his mark on the sport. After having very little running time in practise he had a brilliant race. lets hope force india stay competetive or he gets the job as No1 driver with another good team next year.

Feel for you mate. i drove a friends bora tdi pd150 (golf saloon) the other day and it fealt horrible after the Zed. Just remember S-line is trim, not performance. it just makes poncy audi buyers think they have a sports car. I mentioned before, but noone else has elaberated on it. if you want a fun hatchback, go take a renault with cup chassis for a drive. you cant go any faster round a corner in a similar aged car for less. also with their real world speed coming from the handling, not a massive engine (like audi etc) you keep your momentum and save fuel ....chicken dinner!

ok, thanks mate.maybe its will cost a bit more than i was expecting

Sorry to raise a thread up from the dead but i have these symptoms. i suspected the clicking issue about a week ago and could hear the thing that sounded like a stone in the tread. just got back from work now and theres a nasty rattle on tick-over. The clutch was replaced when i bout the car about 6k miles ago, however this was paid for by the dealer so i dont have a recipt am i about to have a big bill?

Interesting read. i have been watching a few used WON kits on ebay recently. from what WON say i didnt think a remap was needed, however you lot are saying you need a different map each time you change the jets. i thought about nitrous instead of a BT on my old car but bought the Z aswell. i can't really afford to charge my car so i was thinking of getting nitrous for the odd blast with a bit of novelty.and i thought it could be removed without too much trouble (apposed to a remap) what im trying to say is, is it safe to run a 25 or 50 wet shot on with a standard map?

i thought the PS2s have been replaced by the supersport now? need to look into the range next time as i will have to change all 4

The ferrodo pads i got from Al (DS2500 i think) are very good. they take a lot of punishment before i get any fade, and i think this is more down to my old fluid anyway

McLaren topping first practise. monza is normally a Mclaren circuit, but judging by their top speed at spa, this may not be the case. also theyre talking about using a lot of wing to try and get traction in the corners in order to stay over 1 sec ahead to avoid DRS (theyre all worried about how effective it will be at monza) Also, looking at their performance in spa, the Works Mercedes team have phenominal top speed and may be contenders this weekend. Michelin Pilot Sport 3s are Awesome, i got a full set shortly after buying my Zed, just replaced the rears and allthough they are quite pricey, i wouldnt settle for anythign else. maybe it was a mistake getting them as i can't have anythign else now they are very good in the wet too i found it much cheaper to order them of camskill and get them fitted. i got quoted cheapest £225 for them fitted but paid £189 off camskill and tenner each for fitting / balancing.

Hi all. Welcome to the Zed club Gavalar. I have MPS3s, i have recently replaced my rear tyres. they wore a lot more in the centre of the tyre than on the edges. I'm not going to lie, i drive the car hard and the tyres are often a nice tepid warm temperature by the time i arrive. The wear in the centre of the tyre makes me wonder if im running them too high pressures. I have the cold pressures at 35psi as suggested on here. im wondering if i should lower the pressures a little but i dont want to be overheating them or getting any snap oversteer at high speed from having them to low. they are VERY grippy and often on smooth roads make the Zed feel allmost wallowy. any pointers as to whether i should change pressures please comment. also im struggling to find any info on optimum operating temperatures etc oh, and they are 40 profile all round.

i've driven a lot of vauxhalls and they have all fealt borderline peugeout/citron-ish. by this i mean all the mechanical components feel like they are made out of flimsy plastic and i feel like im going to snap things while im driving it - not a nice feeling. My last car was a MK4 golf GTI. very reliable. platform isnt the most involving from a drivers point of view but the MK5 platform is supposed to be much better. IMO audis are just VWs with a badge that says, "im a **** who thinks he has a sports car coz i paid a 10 grand premium over a VW for a badge" plz dont argue, it's just my opinion. if i were stepping down from the Zed i would go for the beemer or a clio / meganne cup depending on your needs and where you're priorities lie, every beemer i have driven has fealt like it has good balance which makes more fun in the corners and renaultsport chassis are hillariously good fun (and would often embarras a Zed on a twisty road) - not sure about reliability on the renaults though, and BMs arent allways as reliable as percieved, older ones often have problems with window and door mechanisms.

that mustang is BEAST! love it when it dives while turning into the car. OK, seen as were a 350z forum, heres the TT 350z from tokyo drift

I know there are a few readers of EVO magazine on here. This month is the issue is focussed on the best sounding cars. there is a website here with some of the greatest sounding cars out there. http://extras.evo.co.uk/ so what gets in your opinion? i will start off: the V12 sound from that 599 is just savage and brutal. that wins it for me

The feed is supplied and the same for every broadcaster so theres nothing they can do about it really. Also assume an average of 3 stops per car, 24 cars on the track. thats 72 pit stips in a race, and most of them confined within short windows. some slip ups in commentry are expected. usually Coulthard and Brundle correct themselves though. Look on the bright side, at least its not ledgard - hands down the most useless commentator i've ever heard

Thanks for this info. time for another one of my epic phonecalls with vodafone customer services to find out how i get a ticket. EDIT: just applied for the competitions and trying to round up a few mates (or one if i drive ) to go down anyway. just over an hours drive for me

My MPS3s need replacing on the rear. they have been FANTASTIC! however when looking at buying replacements there are 2 kinds, one with (AO) at the end of the code. anyon1 know what this means? they are 9 quid more each than the none-(AO) ones EDIT: I think it might mean that its OEM for certain cars, forget i asked
