Yeah i know what your getting at about the rear heavy thing. The front is the most difficult to find the one I like most. I like the amuse front as well. had thought about that with the chargespeed rear at first, but a lot of people seem to be doing it and I wanted to have a look at something different. I'll probably change my mind again soon, but i have allways loved this colour scheme without the dragon ofc

No. I mean dark grey top like in the video. Sent from my GT-I9000 using Tapatalk 2

Ok I have been desperate to spend some money on my car recently, which has resulted in a lot of researching for bits. Styling wise i came up with this combo as a possible. Nismo V2 front, Chargespeed rear. not sure what skirts but i like these veilside ones. I really think those skirts tie the bumper together. I also quite fancy the wing in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rCmjf_ZMAU0 Now imagine all that with a 2-tone paint job (like in the video) only with ferarri red (maybe slightly orangier) instead of silver with dark gold / bronze wheels. I'm meant to be saving up for a deposit on a house this year but after building up a bit of money that makes this seem like a possibility by the time the weather improves, I might have to go for it. What are your thoughts on the combination? Also if anyone can photoshop those colours onto the above pics that would be great!! Chris.

Do you remember the polestar hatchback prototype? - I do. it was awesome!... I also remember the wet-legged 2wd production version they released. I hope the production version of this one actually lives up to the hype.

OK, you guys asked for this: Went out last night and got really wasted. I woke up in the middle of the night next to some chick who was snoring and farting, so I knew I made it home OK! The wife's back on the warpath again. She was up for making a sex movie last night, and all I did was suggest we should hold auditions for her part. I've accidentally swallowed some Scrabble tiles. My next @*!# could spell disaster. My sister-in-law sat on my glasses and broke them. It was my own fault. I should have taken them off. I spent a couple of hours defrosting the fridge last night, or "foreplay" as she likes to call it. After both suffering from depression for a while, me and the wife were going to commit suicide yesterday. But strangely enough, once she killed herself, I started to feel a lot better. So I thought, “**** it, soldier on!†I woke up this morning at 8, and could smell something was wrong. I got downstairs and found the wife face down on the kitchen floor, not breathing! I panicked. I didn’t know what to do. Then I remembered McDonald’s serves breakfast until 11:30. Bought the missus a hamster skin coat last week. Took her to the fair last night, and it took me 3 hours to get her off the Ferris wheel. The other night, my wife asked me how many women I'd slept with. I told her, "Only you. All the others kept me awake all night!" My missus packed my bags, and as I walked out the front door, she screamed, "I wish you a slow and painful death, you bastard!" "Oh," I replied, "so now you want me to stay!" A girl I know said the last time she had sex, it was like the men's Olympic 100 meter final. I laughed, "Over in 9.5 seconds?" "No," she said, "Eight black men and a gun." A Catholic boy in confession says, “Bless me Father, I have sinned, I masturbated while thinking about my sister.†“That's a disgrace,†said the priest, “especially when you have two gorgeous brothers.†A government survey has shown that 91% of illegal immigrants come to this country so that they can see their own doctor. I've just installed strobe lights in the bedroom. It makes the wife look like she's moving during sex. The wife said to me last night "If you turn the bedside lamp off I'll take it up the arse." Maybe I should have waited for the bulb to cool down first.. I was sitting watching Match of the Day when the Mrs came into the lounge and says "Fancy a shag Babe?" I said, "After the football love" She said, "You do realise that you can record it?" I said, "Nice, you get the camcorder, I'll come upstairs when the footy finishes". My girlfriend has just asked me how many women I've shagged. I said, 'I really dont want to answer that love, you know I've had a past & I don't want to upset you!' 'C'mon' she said, 'I can handle it!' So I had to sit there and count them all. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, you, 10, 11, 12. My Wife asked me to go to the Doctors about my Erection problem, she wasn't pleased when I came back and gave her some Slimming Pills. I was at a wedding reception when the DJ announced all the married men out there go and stand by the person who makes your life worth living. The barman was crushed to deathl. My wife was in the bathroom for hours getting ready to go out when finally the door swung open and she said, "Honestly , do I look fat in this". I replied, "Yes love, but to be fair, it's only a small bathroom". -
Yeah but with the V8s they choose to put in less fuel so they don't carry around the extra weight, whereas these new reg's seem to force it on them much more. I'm sure they have considered the point I made, but with a whole new engine spec' with unlimited turbo size, I wouldn't be suprised if one of the engine manufacturers developed an engine that would allow them to run at the max fuel rate allowed, which would burn up all of the allowed fuel in 1 hour, meaning that, hypothetically, in a 90 min race they would only be running the engine at 2/3rds power. I guess we will find out after the first race weekend when looking at quali vs race engine modes.

New engine ideas. Could be very interesting.

Hydrogen is a very small particle therefore getting it to be a lone particle or to react requires the input (electrolysis) or output (BANG) of a lot of energy (respectively). i don't think it is chemically possible to make electrolysis use less energy than it will produce from combusting as it is essentially the opposite prosess. and it will always have a bit of energy loss either way from inefficiency etc (e.g noise and heat from the reaction bla bla bla) I think this is why we haven't heard about too many hydrogen powered cars recently. -

Sounds like the fuel would cost a bomb though. First the hydrogen would have to be processed (which is very expensive.) Then they would have to pay a load of workers with syringes to inject their balls with it. I thought you could just get hydrogen from electrolysis? Sorry, I didn't mean expensive. I meant it uses more energy than you get out of the hydrogen from burning it in an engine -

I quite fancy a dark red one. just throwing my name out there. i'll confirm before the end of the week (if it hasn't already gone by then) -
A son asked his mother the following question: ' Mum, why are wedding dresses white? ' The mother looks at her son and replies: ' Son, this shows your friends and relatives that your bride is pure.' The son thanks his Mum and goes off to double-check this with his father. ' Dad why are wedding dresses white? ' The father looks at his son in surprise and says: 'Son, all household appliances come in white.'

just been reading up a bit more about the 2014 engines here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/formula1/21016926 This part worries me; "And at the heart of the rules is energy efficiency - engines will be allowed to use no more than 100kg of fuel in a race and the engines will have a fuel-flow rate restriction of 100kg per hour." "This, he says, is "a technology directly aligned with what road cars are doing" and the result will be a "thinking drivers' formula to get the most out of the cars and the available fuel energy"." Does this mean were going to see fast cars running out of fuel before the end of the race and cars who have plodded round saving fuel winning? Also with a limit on fuel does that mean that races such as Monza with a lot more full throttle will now be much slower because they don't have the fuel available to go flat out down all of the straights? Maybe with the new ERS end better fuel efficiency the fuel limits wont be a problem, but if it is, we are going to have some very frustrated fans watching cars crawl around the circuit so they can make it to the end of the race on a thimble of fuel.

I was the same and still am in some departments. I love engineering and know a lot of detailed theory about a lot of interesting but pointless stuff. When it comes to taking apart your 350Z though it can seem a bit daunting at first. Chances are that you will break stuff while you are learning if you do it on your own, so the Z is maybe not the best place to start. Probably better off getting a banger and playing with that or get someone who knows what they're doing to help you. I find my biggest problem is getting halfway through a job, realizing i don't have the tools to finish, then putting it back together so i can drive to a friends to get the tool i need. That or unacessable or ceased up nuts and bolts. The actual mechanicaal stuff is often much simpler than you think.

u guys remember the clapped out shed you had for your first car? most likely had rust holes and if it was french, the chances are that most of it didn't work properly. I do worry what is going to happen to all these hybrid/compressed air powered cars when they reach their latter years. surely if someone is driving round with enough compressed air to power a car there will have to be some kind of compulsory maintainence. It's a good idea though. -
The wheels look awesome. You must be the favourite parent by now lol

Mines set at around 6300 or something. if you're on it in 3rd / 4th gear when the revs are building more slowly then it is a little more accurate than the noise.

As I'm sure many of you know, the YT comments section is a hotbed for idiots who say the first thing that comes into their head. Every so often, these pointless replies are a good excuse to vent off some steam Here's one i made earlier: Anyone else the same? P.S. this thread was inspired by SMD's questions you should ask post in redalfa's thread

The same man who came up with that statement also described a McLaren Mercedes SLR as a prawn and avocardo sandwich.

I think I would rather buy a used 370Z and supercharge it for the money. As previously posted though, I'm sure it will hold its value better but IMHO there's a lot of extra mouth there for not much more trousers. that said the wheels are

I think the top pic needs something at the sides and the bottom one looks like it has come off a much wider car and has been folded to fit. I think that universal one looks great.
