Great price, I'm considering getting my wheels refurbed in the same colour and BJV Engineering are really close to me. Did you decide to get them painted or powder coated? Was it done with a different colour base coat like with hyper silver?

Very nice. I saw a set just the same on eBay not so long ago and was very tempted, if they fronts had been just as concave as the rears then I think I would have gone for them. Looking at yours now I'm thinking maybe I should have got them anyway, they really look fantastic.

After a long search I will soon be the proud owner of some 5ZIGEN wheels: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=65689 My short list had come down to either the Forgestar CF10, Rota PWR or these 5ZIGEN ProRacer ZR+520. I was intending to get some ordered for the spring but when this set appeared I couldn't pass up the opportunity. Once I've got them on the car I'll post up some pics for you all to admire.

I ran Hankook Winter i*cept evo W310 on my Zed last winter and also on my previous FWD car the year before, both my only car and daily driver. Despite being at the milder end of the country I used to live somewhere with plenty of steep hills that had to be negotiated to get anywhere and having also tried Autosock with some success I can tell you that having winter tyres is a revelation in the snow and ice. I switched from RE050A and back, standard sizes on Rays and yes they do feel a bit soft in the sidewalls initially and turn-in isn't so sharp but then when you're dealing with potholes, puddles, reduced visibility, idiots and just want to get to your destination you can forgive them. I also found that because they require no warm up the initial grip off the line and braking in the colder months was much better even in the dry and gives you a lot of confidence should an emergency arise. If I didn't have to drive them in snow and ice then I think they may be hard to justify just for the cold weather benefits. However, second-hand wheels aren't that expensive and if you use them for two or three years then the tread saving on your summer tyres will obviously reduce your overall costs.

These aren't the usual Z centre caps that I've seen for Rays before, they're smaller so may be suitable for non-Rays 18" or maybe JDM 17" wheels: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/251106127517 Appear to have a Nissan part number as well, not sure which Zed they'd be from.

Just had a reply back from the seller, they're face 1 on the front and face 2 on the rear.

I would be a lot keener on them if they were the concave face 2 all round and half that price! Generally Volk are way out of my budget but I thought these 7 year old ones might become cheap enough if the seller gets a bit more realistic on price. He is open to offers.

Jez @ Horsham Developments fitted my coilovers and did a full alignment for £300. Most places I spoke to seemed to expect 3-4 hours on average. Driftworks who supplied mine said they should only take about 2 hours but I think that's very much a best case scenario.
