  1. I've got a spare strut cover for sale which might be suitable depending on what you're looking for: Grey Rear Strut Cover
  2. Hard to say looking at that photo, best you measure to be sure!
  3. I'm not sure which Rotas you have but I'm pretty sure it'll fit most of them if it looks the same.
  4. This was the thread I was thinking of which goes through some refinishing options: Rear Strut Brace Bar Cover "Z" Badge Solutions Post #46 shows the logo repainting, looks like you'll have to sand it down to get the old finish off.
  5. I'm sure I've seen a thread where someone refinished the Z in something that looks similar but was more durable, that may be a better and cheaper option for you.
  6. This is the standard Rota size 63mm cap so should fit most of the popular Rotas.
  7. Does no one need one of these for a project? The scrapes in the photo are on the side you don't see when you open the boot so might look better than what you've got now even without re-painting.
  8. I was tempted by one of those but couldn't find one that's suitable for wider tyres, for me it would need to be able to take at least a couple of tyres up to 275mm.
  9. I've had my TomTom GO LIVE 825 Europe for over a year now and took it abroad a couple of times last year to France, Belgium and the Netherlands. It was fantastic the whole time, great for general navigation around towns and cities, finding hotels and parking. The live traffic information really helped out at times, like when we were trying to avoid the worst of the traffic leaving the Belgian GP. It's not perfect, the updating software on the PC is a bit weird at times and I find the menu interface a little clunky by smartphone standards but once you're driving along it's excellent. The windscreen mount works well and is easy to position within reach in a 350Z without blocking the view. It's what TomTom call 'Always Connected' as opposed to their cheaper 'Smartphone Connected' variety so there's no data charges on your phone which is ideal for Europe. It's now been superseded by the TomTom GO 5000 for around £250 which has a new interface and lifetime map updates and live traffic information. Mine is still available on Amazon for less than £160 but I have to pay about £40 a year from now on to keep the traffic information working, mine came with lifetime map updates but not sure if that offer is still available.
  10. Bought to test something and never been fitted to a wheel. I'm looking for £10 including delivery, or you can collect from Watford and pay a bit less. Mod Edit: Moved to 350 parts for sale
  11. Having just replaced my rear strut cover with one in much better condition I've now got my old one up for grabs. It's grey from my 2007 GT 313 and matches the colour of the 2006 facelift one that I bought to replace it. It's got some deep scratches on the side facing the seats and the Z logo is starting to bubble. I also broke a piece off the the edge which I glued back on but I don't think it would affect the fitting and certainly wouldn't be visible, you can just see it in the third photo. Ideal for someone who wants a spare to paint or wrap. Unfortunately it's too long to go in the post and a courier is going to be around £10. I'm looking for £20 including delivery or you can collect from Watford and pay just £10. Mod Edit: Moved to 350 Parts for sale
  12. Picking them up Saturday Great choice. Fairly unique, lightweight and I'm amazed they were so cheap. Looking forward to some photos once you've got them fitted.
  13. Set of Nismos here: Nissan 350z Nismo Rays Wheels 18x8-Front 19x10-Rear
  14. I've used Blackboots (http://www.blackboot...s-alignment.php) in Chesham who have a Hunter system and seem to know what they're doing, the cost last time was £114.
  15. I might be wrong but I think legally you're supposed to have pressure monitors if you use run flats, it might also handle a bit less predictably than having the same front and rear. I looked at getting some part worn winters but read somewhere that they're not effective below 4mm, although I would guess that's more do to with use in snow. Most of the ones I could find where too worn to justify their prices so I ended up getting new ones in the end.
  16. According to Bridgestone you could run up to 255/45 or 245/40 on an 8" rim and up to 275/45 or 255/40 on an 8.5".
  17. There's a set on eBay US here: 18x9 19x10 5x114.3 Nissan 350z Track/GT V.2 Rims/Wheels. Need a refurb but would probably work out a lot cheaper than new ones. Not seen any in the UK so pretty unique.
  18. I've got a spare passenger side one from an '07 car which I was going to stick on eBay. It's complete except one of the mounting points has broken off the bottom leaving a hole. It was working fine and no water has got in so might be repairable or you could make one out of two. I'm sure in the past I've seen used ones for £400, PM me with an offer if you're interested and I'll see if I can get some photos.
  19. Thanks I Think they would pick any damage up on the mot,s :-) I've had two services, one MOT and an extra geometry check since they were fitted and no-one's mentioned anything.
  20. I've been running with HSD HR (MonoPro) for the last 20 months and 10,000 miles and not had any issues at all, although I'm not sure how to check to be 100% sure.
  21. I've also been using a Synology NAS in RAID 1 (2x 2TB) for the last 18 months, mainly for streaming audio (SONOS) and video (Samsung Smart TV) but also with the intention of using it for backup in the future. Mine's a DS212+ which has probably been superseded by now and certainly not the cheapest NAS around but very flexible and great quality.
  22. I'm sure you'll be fine with those.
  23. I'm pretty sure you can fit R35 GT-R wheels to a 370Z without problems and they're the same sizes you're talking about with offsets of ET45 front, ET25 rear. As 350Ad said, make sure the PCD is 5x114.3 and the centre bore needs to be at least 66.1mm (if larger you'll need hub rings). Then you just need some suitable nuts (the 370Z Rays use a flat seat nut which is different to most aftermarket wheels) and tyres, I would guess something like 255/35R20 front, 285/30R20 rear but you might want to check what others have tried.
  24. What condition is the front bumper in? Do you have the passenger side headlight washer bottle, wheelarch liner and front wing? Thanks.
  25. I went to see a car at Junction 17 when I was looking and I wasn't at all impressed. The car wasn't in the great condition they said, the paintwork was poor and they refused to show me the documentation and history unless I agreed to buy the car. The guy I spoke to was very shifty and not just in a normal car salesman way. I wouldn't go to the trouble of going there unless you're fairly local with nothing to lose.
