  1. in the same position.... am paying £725 + VAT for the conveyancing then you have stamp duty, land registry and searches was about middle of the road pricing round my way but it was a solicitors that came highly recommended to me by at least three different people so it was a no brainer for me
  2. I bought those from Ric, they make the car look longer but squatter somehow. They're Team Dynamics BTW. EDIT, I have to thank SteveM for bringing both these wheels to my attention....Cheers mate Pete they look great! really like the dish on the rears of Carolines...
  3. you will really struggle to get compo from the council... they do have a claims proceedure but good luck getting anywhere with it. roads are in a shocking state at the moment!!!!
  4. as a temp measure just clear silicone seal the cap to the alloy... leave it for plenty of time for the silicone to cure and it should be fine i have a full set of 4 rota high caps in gunmetal which i am going to be selling but they are the wrong colour for you and i cant help by the end of the day
  5. What is a photobucket..! to be fair i understand the confusion... i searched for photobucket on line and although i found a firebucket and a Bucket in a bag and even an all purpose bucket (by its very name should do what you need it to) i never found a photobucket
  6. This is the set of GTRs I had done for under £300.... Tyres on, off, on and rebalance
  7. Mmmm Big Mac.... every serving of mayo contains a sample of human DNA..... fresh from the chef
  8. just paid under £300 to have a set of 19 inch Rotas dipped stripped sorted and coated in shadow chrome... it was only a fiver plus VAT more each wheel for the finish i wanted rather than just a plain silver or black.... £600 is far too much

  12. WINKJ i hate to say it mate but you WILL drop your first bike at some point... everyone does it mate. its the stupid things like 14N said about that will do it.. slow speed or stationary... i have been riding years and i still dropped mine (a few years back now) in a garage after filling up with fuel after a long ride.. i forgot to put the side stand down!!! was knackered and not thinking and once it goes beyond a point there is no saving it! lol like you say its up to you what you do and what you ride... i was given all sorts of advice which i didnt listen to (pretty much the same advice your getting here) so nothing changes mate... if your sensible you will get an older 600 bandit / fazer and run it for a year... make all your mistakes on a bike that wont cost a lot to insure or repair then go out and get the Harley.. but we ride bikes so i guess that means the sensible head goes out of the window most of the time i went from a ZX6r (wrote that off) to a 1200 bandit (wrote that off) to a 1000 Exup then TL1000s (which nearly wrote me off) to a ZX12r.. am on my 2nd 12r now. over the years have ridden quite a few other bikes and have even ridden a couple of Harleys, one of which was a Fatboy which i hired while in the states (bay area) great laugh at slow speeds and in a straight line whatever you do mate enjoy and keep it shiny side up and post up pics when you get it
  13. Suits the lines of the car quite well as it goes
  14. Got myself a set in black. Look the nuts Cheers chris
  15. i have nothing against anyone wanting to ride a harley (think your mad but there you go) but i would seriously think about getting something else a little easier and predictable to ride as a first bike. 600 bandit or hornet or fazer would be my suggestions. the Harley will be an interesting ride and my experience of them is that as a novice the strange handling characteristics may cause you more problems than its worth get a couple of years under your belt on a more predictable bike then your premiums will be lower and you will be in a better position to ride the harley good luck
  16. could you not just fit a facelift bumper and reflectors to a pre facelift car rather than cutting bumpers about?
  17. full refurb including removing tyres and refit and balance £280 inc VAT
  18. Looks soooo much better in the sun.... Please let it be sunny again soon!!!!!
