from my experience wheels, tyres and brakes are not the places you want to be scrimping on.... keep an eye out for some good quality second hand wheels and tyres.. quite a few pop up on here. i would certainly prefer to spend my money on good second hand alloys than questionalble new ones.....
  4. really?.... i just looked and they are £84.99 on the bay and £80 on the forum..... hey i dont need them as i already have a set... im off out to the states in a couple of weeks and could bring some back but if they are too much then i wont bother... more room in my case for other stuff
  5. i may be able to get a couple of pairs of facelift front clear reflectors in the region of £50 a pair..... cant seem to get the smoke ones in the facelift though

  9. i would love to have loads of different bikes but im 6ft 4 and big boned (thats my excuse and im sticking to it!) so the ZX12 suits me perfectly... keep toying with going back to a twin as i really like the look of the RSVR but i just fit the 12 so well..........
  10. was taken by a lake in central france. thats actually the milky way in the centre of the pic! cant really remember the settings will have to look at the raw image if i can find it but i had to up the iso quite a bit so i could take a short enough exposure. sounds odd but if i had taken a very long exposure the stars would have left trails and i didnt want that.
  11. someone like to go fast..... lol 10r, Superduke, RS4, Evo......

  13. One problem with a DIY approach to dealing with repairs is the small print on most insurance policies: providers generally say that customers should report any and all accidents, whether they want to make a claim or not. If you fail to come clean about an accident and the insurer finds out, it could cancel your policy or refuse to pay out on a subsequent claim. But even if you aren’t claiming, your premiums may still increase in future because you have been involved in an accident – albeit one that didn’t leave the insurer out of pocket. Strictly speaking, you should declare all events, whether you claim or not, to your insurer. thats not saying that i havent done the very same thing in the past but i will say it was for a much more minor incident
