  1. Good to see what mine looks like moving
  2. The beauty of the unit is how easy it is to use! Some aftermarket units are far too complicated this one has all the simple 1 touch buttons but also has touch screen and sat nav built in. Very happy
  3. Or if it's urgent pm me your mobile number and I will call you
  4. Graham. My wife has one! We have had an issue with the roof. I will talk to you about it tomorrow ok
  5. Had the great pleasure of a visit to the Zed Shed today.... So this story starts with me messaging Buster asking if he was up for a challenge! I wanted to replace the standard unit with a sat nav unit (nothing new there) but i didn't want a complicated to use all signing and dancing aftermarket one.. No I have been researching a Nissan Connect sat nav unit from a qashqai which has the advantage of a sat nav system but being a standard nissan part looks pretty oem and is really easy to use! and I couldn't see why with a bit of busters help is shouldn't fit..... How hard can it be!!! Famous last words! The plugs are completely different and the face of the unit is a completely different size to either the standard or any after market units.. Just as a starter! Anyway a lot of research on my part looking for PIN numbers and with a modified facia adaptor which took a while to get right plus the head unit and two wiring adaptors plus gps aerial, USB plug and modified radio aerial iPad for reference pictures and a box of donuts in hand I drove the 100 miles down from my place This was not a simple fit! But with bobs knowledge and a bit of lateral thinking in places the new head unit was in and it's great! Sat nav, USB input, speed camera warning... It all works as it should! Just need to hitch up the speed control wire (bob the gps doesn't do it) I also had the pleasure of seeing a bit of the current engine build in progress... I turned up and there was a floor covers in bits and then the next time I looked the floor was clear and it was all fitted to the engine! These guys and gals don't hang about!!! Thank you for the help and the hospitality! Anyway on to the pics sorry for the poor quality!
  6. if it were me i would be having those heads really lightly skimmed just for peace of mind.. slightly thicker head gasket will take up the difference of a light skim
  7. Also his shirt is all white. If that were Adrian it would have a black bit down the front of it
  8. Nice! I have emailed Jack about an exchange
  9. all i need is someone with an aftermarket head unit to measure the dims accross the face to the inside of the facia adapter??? i thought this was going to be a silly simple request that would take half an hour not 2 days to coax out of someone... please?... pretty please?.... with sugar on top???? someone?
  10. I have a head unit (not standard aftermarket) that I need to check the figment to the double din facia before I go too far down a path.. Just want the dims of the inside of the facia..
  11. Anyone with an aftermarket system able to help?????
  12. Can someone do me a favour and measure the INTERNAL dimensions of a standard 350z double din facia? Dims in mm would be great Ta
  13. Yeah I meant ebay but I have just had another look and it's not there anymore
  14. Looks Great!!! especially as you have a body coloured bonnet
  15. Yeah he's a hooligan, just needs some anthracite Rotas now to complete the Boi racer £30k+ car Don't worry... I'm intelligent enough to recognise a dig when I see one. Didn't want you to feel it went unnoticed
  16. Never been a fan if the different colour bonnet thing personally... Yes I know its carbon but it makes it look boy racer in my eyes. But hey it's what you like so that's all that matters
