  1. picked up, paid for and fitted cheers Dip
  2. consider it sold.. just down the road so can pick it up
  3. if you think your current clutch is noisy wait till you fit a lightened single mass one......
  4. awesome noise and power but its not a hugely flickable sports car... that said i have seriously considered selling the zed and getting one... 500bhp and 500 plus lbft is very addictive but as already said if anything goes wrong its big bucks time
  5. Woking.. ok then Ashtead is just up the road... that said any good engineering firm should be able to look at it and advide you if it can be skimmed
  6. by the way... that is one TOASTED clutch in the background!!!!!!!!!
  7. Cranford Engineering Ltd Craddocks Parade Ashtead Surrey http://www.cranford-engineering.co.uk/ they do flywheel skimming... would be worth taking it along and seeing what they say? i cant remember where you are based?
  8. is it not possible to have a flywheel skimmed? i know i wouldnt suggest doing it to a DMF but a single mass one like that???
  9. i just tried the one on bulkpowders and it didnt work for me....

  11. i was on my bike heading the other way... looked like you had darker than standard wheels on?
  12. boooo another pre facelift lip.... where are all the lips for us facelift guys....
  13. New flywheel, clutch, slave and braided line fitted at kaizer by sly today. Great job as usual but I guess I got it changed at the right time! Fly was a bit loose to say the least
  14. been meaning to post on here for ages! had Jack do my wheel for me..... very happy before After
  15. i decided to stay with the OEM but upgrade to the touch screen connect unit because of the simplicity of use... i sometimes find the after marked units far too complicated for simple things like switching radio stations or between CD and Aux for instance. with an OEM unit the functionality remains very simple with push button change and simple dial control but i have the added bit of touch screen sat nav and no crazy sub menus within sub menus just to change the bass level for instance i got better sound quality, it didnt cost a fortune and its still very easy to use when you are driving without having to take your eyes off the road to try and work out which sub menu to go to when you want to swap radio stations... down side is it was hard to do
  16. it all works (sat nav, touch screen, AUX input plays iphone with control through the head unit, steering wheel controls) and it sounds great. better sound than the standard unit.... but.... LOTS involved in fitting! modified facia adaptor, modified loom (completely different wiring and plugs!), modified aerial adaptor, gps aerial needed, Aux input plug needed, amplifier interface (unit is pre amplified so causes volume problems without this), spacers on the stereo mount and a lot of time scouring the web for wiring diagrams for both cars to match up wires from different units..... and it doesnt end there it is possible but it aint easy and as far as i know mine is the only connect unit fitted to a 350z... have a look about at units you like and start researching but it will boil down to taking the plunge and having a go!
  17. i fitted a Nissan OEM connect sat nav touch screen unit to mine..... not an easy or straight forward fit but it works
  18. Happy birthday Col.... born on April fools... explains a lot!

  20. Because on a cold crisp sunny day with a jacket and wooly hat on it feels great to be out with the roof down
  21. hi thre and wecome to the club.... roadster club that is its been brought up a few times over the last couple of months but dont be suprised if the roof wont go down in chilly weather. the roof material is quite stiff and its totally normal for it to stick if not warmed up. dont try and force it down just either park in the sun to warm it or stick the heaters on for a while enjoy!
  22. for anyone interested in the story behind that catch....... http://www.flyguideb...thday-sturgeon/
